The Gros Morne footage was shot in January 2022. Everything else was shot in September 2022. Everything that you see here was shot on the DJI Mini 2.
The footage from the southwest coast (Port aux Basques, Ilse aux Morts, Burnt Islands, and Rose Blanche) was captured less than a week before Hurricane Fiona swept through. At the time of shooting, I had no idea of how much devastation would be caused by the extreme force of nature that was headed toward the area.

It’s amazing at Western Brook Pond, where the fjords are. I have actually never been there in the summer. The day I shot this footage was mid-January. I actually shouldn’t have put the drone up at all because they’re prohibited in national parks but I honestly never felt so far from any other human that day that I was sure it would be fine. It was such an amazing experience, but still, I gotta go back and see it under the summer sun someday soon. Enjoy your trip!

Beautiful. I live in Central now and im originally from central. But I lived on the West coast for 3 years. The west coast will always have a special place in my heart. Maybe it's cause of the time in my life that I associate with it, seems like it was such a good, simple time, in such a good place.
