Can’t believe I’m commenting, I’m almost 60 and have been privileged to fly out of Buchanan Field [CCR] in Concord, CA, since the early 70’s, in various small planes, with some incredible pilots; unfortunately, I never pursued my own license, one of my few real regrets. YT must’ve prompted one of Blaze’s videos after one of my kids and I saw a Vision Jet fly overhead on approach to CCR, and simply saying out loud, ‘… whoa, that looked like a Beech Bonanza with a jet engine!..’, got the Big G’s always-listening attention I used to let them auto-play in the background while working but now I look forward to each new video, and will sit back and watch them on the big TV. Dramatic or not it’s young folks like Emmi and Blaze and their whole gang, pilots and friends we see on screen, that give me all the hope for the future, and the incentive to try not to ruin it for them before it’s too late! I cannot think of more deserving stewards for America, and for the planet in general, when my Boomer folks, and us Gen X’s die off. I wish for a fraction of the character these kids display, at their age or now! And how many pilots of any vintage are as polished as these two? Absolute pros already yet never a hint of ego, and upping their game with every flight hour in either seat… and outstanding representation of the Cirrus brand, I’m not in the market myself, but if I were I’d feel a loyalty already… Would Recommend To Friend: 10 ☑️ Blaze thank you for your outstanding content and good on ya for the spiritual side of each edit. As a godless heathen myself I absolutely appreciate your own beliefs and it allows me to feel that you’re getting so much more than a view when you’re up there. You know you’re going to get grief and made the conscious decision to go with your soul, and goddamit if that what this Nation isn’t all about. You and Emmi and Company are the finest examples of Americans and are touching and inspiring kids of all ages with your work, and more so with how you comport yourselves; as a parent of four adults I know the pride your own folks feel, kudos and thanks to them for sharing y’all with the rest of us Stay safe up there and keep sharing your passion as long as it continues to fulfill you, we’ll continue to appreciate every minute ~ Godspeed young man! ✌🏽🛩️

What's stopping you from getting your license now? I've seen a video where an 80 year old man was still flying his Cessna 310, even pulling it out of the hangar himself.

Both pilots are very professional. I love seeing young people in aviation. I started my aviation journey 40 years ago and I can say my panels NEVER looked like that back then! How technology has changed aviation.... The young lady is so impressive. How wonderful to see young women in aviation and as accomplished as she is at her young age. Best wishes to you both!

My kid just finished his engineer/MBA/football career at Cal Poly and 5 years living in SLO town. We had to pry the kid out of that town. If he had his way he would reside there forever. But, he soon realized that he needed a job that would pay 1/4 million bucks a year to afford a house there. So, he left. But SLO is an amazing place. We will forever feel at home there.

I went to Hearse Castle as a kid. That needs to be on the bucket list again. Stay at the Madonna Inn. I heard there used to be a hanging strip at Hearse Castle. Wouldn’t that be cool to fly in.

Have you flown into Chico? My last flight was from Chico to fly over Paradise to see the burn scars, down to Oroville Lake, over the Sutter Buttes (the smallest mountain range in the nation) then to Ft Bragg Glass Beach, then back to Chico. Fun trip. I’ve moved back to Reno since then. I love flying. Your videos are fun to watch.

Blaze, I really like this nifty little plane! I live in the Carmichael area, just a 15-minute drive east of your locale at McClellan. I'm sure you both had a pleasant visit with CitationMax, who is now flying that awesome Cessna Citation Longitude with his co-pilot buddy, Stephen, who is in SLO.

Darn, you had me until the Bible reference. Maybe your next video will explain why your god allows pediatric cancer. I’d prefer my pilot to have faith in the CAPS system to save my life rather than in some fictional character when things go south.

Man, I had similar questions growing up. Why can our world be so bad, unfair to many, suffering, yet there is a good God. God made the world with free will, meaning we make our own decisions. With that, sin came into the world. God can’t bring anything bad, He’s only good. However, because there’s sin in this world, we see these terrible things happening…remember that they will be first in Heaven.

He also said the word “crazy” which could be offensive to those with mental illness. Oh, and I heard the word “rich” that could ostracize those who are financially challenged. And she uttered the acronym “FBO” of which the letters could be applied to any number of vulgar and or racist slurs.. Would you equally criticize the emergency room medical personnel treating you or the firemen putting out the fire in your house? To be able to exist in this world, you must apply some context to your communication with others.
