Quick note from a frequent Alaska first class flyer - Seattle has a couple of Alaska lounges and they are very nice. Also, Alaska asks passengers to go online and pick out their meals in advance a couple days before the flight, hence no menu - the options are listed online. They do keep meals onboard for those who didn't choose online. The fruit and cheese box makes an excellent light meal and is one of the most popular choices - there's never a guarantee there will be one on the flight, so order it online..

Next I’d be interested to find out about first class on Canadian airlines! I have my favourite, but there are smaller airlines in Canada that deserve honest reviews by well traveled bloggers.
@ie63704 ай бұрын
Canadian Airlines have what I would call Business class only...nothing really "First Class". I fly a fair bit for work, probabaly not as much as Trek. My take.. Air Canada is the best, ya ya, everyone in Canada likes to complain about the major carrier, but their product overall is good, I have flown other airlines in US and around the world and AC's domestic business class is a good product. Internationally though AC's Business class is middle of the pack.... Little note.. Air Canada does have it's discount airline, Rouge, and at times Air Canada will switch their mainline flight and put you on a Rouge flight. Rouge has a business class product too, it is substandard to Air Canada's mainline business class. We even have a saying for when Air Canada switchs you to a Rouge flight last minute..."you have been Rouged". WestJet does have a business class that is good with service but choices of food selection is limited and very few lounges to be had. Porter Airlines, a fairly new Airline is Canada, has a business class, it is a little better than WestJet, good service but again very few lounges across Canada. Overall for flight selection and availability, AC comes out slightly ahead. As a buisnes traveller who visits lounges often, Air Canada has a lounge in pretty much all the province's major cities. Although the Lounges in YHZ, YUL, AND YYZ domestic have a lot to be desired....the Halifax lounge was outdated 15 years ago, Toronto's lounge is boring/outdated and you have a great view of the airports roof ventilation systems and very little view of the runways, if you stand up..if you are sitting forget seeing a plane. Montreal's domestic lounge has nice view of the airplanes and the ramp but it is too small and always cramped, terrible layout but I will say this, the people who work in the Toronto and Montreal lounge do a good job or trying to keep the place clean, dishes removed promptly. My hats off to all lounge staff as I see some real assholes in lounges who think that because they are in a lounge they are "special". Never once have I considered myself special, as I am lucky to travel for business often and visit lounges and many beautiful places in North America. If I ever do start feeling "special" I just think of my dad, who at the age of 12 had to get a job to support his family, Dad deliver milk by horse back in the 40's, never heard my Dad complain once in my life. Blessed to have had such a great Dad and what I have and do!

Kudos to Hawaiian & United for not locking the shades on those dreadful pieces of equipment. I’m usually offered a PDB in American First or Business on US domestic. Thank you for mentioning Sterling Pacific - have desperately been trying to find out your carry on brand 🙏🏻

Flew with United before, the cabin crew were not friendly at all. So hearing you being barked at and had a bad experience with them, did not suprise me at all. Great video as always and very informative. Fly safe!

Dear Person That's Reading This, We Don’t Know Each Other But I Wish You All The Best In Life 2024 And Beyond.🙏 May I also remind you of the fact that our Native American population in our motherland, the Continent of America before the European Colonizers arrived, was around 15 millions, while the European population in their motherland, the Continent of Europe was around 25 millions. Today, Native American population is 15 million, while the European population, in the Continents of America + Europe, is a staggering TWO BILLION! A shockingly sad truth. 😔 In my humble opinion, it's about time to decolonize the Colonized lands, and return to rightful owners Native American people. Notorious global cardinal crimes the Christian West has committed, and benefited a great deal, such as Slavery & Colonialism had long been over, why on earth is notorious Colonization still lingering on, may I ask? 🤷

@@thykingdomcome7238 I absolutely agree, it's about time to decolonize the Colonized lands, such as North & South America and Australia & New Zealand, and return to rightful owners Native American people and Native Asia-Pacific people. True, notorious global cardinal crimes the 'Christian' West has committed, and benefited a great deal, such as Slavery & Colonialism had long been over, why on earth is notorious Colonization still lingering on.

I love this video, it must have taken so much energy and work to do so much in such a short about of time haha. As a frequent flier of United, I absolutely agree that their food game needs to be upped. However, i do find that overall everything does seem better on international flights. Things like nicer service, a menu, nicer food options, and nicer drink options are definitely things that I have personally noticed. Although i agree that the airline should be able to offer the same quality of service no matter if it’s international or domestic, it is a small excuse. Although there is much stigma against United, I am seeing that they are improving quite a lot, which is nice. My home airport is SFO, the first airport we saw in this video. I find that the United Polaris lounge there is the best one i’ve been too. United does have another lounge for higher-status fliers with ranks of Gold and up. The difference between the two is massive. I personally find the Polaris lounge closer to euro airlines, which is very nice and very spacious. Delta is by far the best american airline there is, no questions asked. However, the Delta flight in the video is indeed an international flight while the others are domestic so it may be a slightly inaccurate comparison. Though during my experiences with Delta, I have found that there is not that much of a difference between international and domestic flights. I may be biased as a frequent United flier, but i have not ran into any problems before. I would say that after Delta, United is definitely one of the american airlines I would prefer to fly. in no way am i defending the flaws of united, i am just stating my personal experiences as a frequent flier
