Flying from the World's Most Beautiful Airport! | Bangalore airport T2 | Air India A350-900

Though heavily inspired from Singapore Changi airport, the terminal looks alluring. Private airports in India are slightly better than government run airports. I live in Chennai and the airport (even the newly upgraded terminal) sucks. In my opinion, at least the capitals of Indian states and UT's must have well designed airports with good connectivity through flyovers, underpasses, metro rail and integrated transport. Just heard that Lucknow got a swanky new terminal. The decent airports in India are obviously, the clear winner Kempegowda T2 followed by Mopa (Goa), Mumbai, Hyderabad and New Delhi. Hope local governments understand that an airport terminal is the face of the city that tourists first see and form an impression. If India is serious about an image makeover, it must upgrade its public infrastructure and teach its citizens to behave in a civilized manner. Civic sense or lack thereof indicates the average mentality of a country and the world is well aware of how almost all Indians score in that aspect.

OMG this is almost similar to Incheon T2 😮😮. Well now in my opinion ICN T2, Jewel Changi and now KIA T2 are the most beautifully designed airports I have seen. Sure there are many beautiful airports out there but still these 3 give you a mix of both modern and culturally diverse vibes 😊. Very nice terminal to look at from far. We have used this airport 6 times now and still think that with a little bit of common sense they could have made it more functional. The arrival lounge exiting towards car park is far too conjested and the number of lifts that take you to the car park is less than inadequate. Instead of manual payments for parking they could have automated it to prevent large queues. The authorities can learn from how Dubai manages its airports.

Nice airport, but free wifi connections are not easy .... it is a bureaucratic process with a heavy hand of security. They need to simplify and also provide good wifi connectivity, not limited by time. Need to see how well it is maintained after 5-10 years of use.

I agree, Bangalore airport is very beautiful. However, I think it is not so much of importance for an airport. An airport should be spacious, aesthetic, well laid out, and easy to maintain. It is not a museum or a place for recreation. It has to be good looking but not over the top. The amount that was spent in over-beautification could have been utilised for more useful purposes.

There are still shortages of restaurants, hardly 2-3 Indian restaurants are available. Not a single South Indian restaurant is there. MOSO® used laminated bamboo tubes to ensure consistent shape, quality, and durability. Raw bamboo stems were unsuitable due to their variability and susceptibility to cracking. The laminated tubes were developed through extensive research. Hello, yes this is the T2 of Kempegowda international airport. It is used by Tata airlines for domestic flights and other airlines for international flights. T1 is being used by Indigo, Spicejet and other low cost airlines.
