I like to quilt, but I also like to see progress. This quilt goes together fast and easy for the charity quilts we give. I don't feel the need to spend a year making ONE. I'd rather send multiples, clear out some stash and give some comfort to the kids we help. Thank you for all the wonderful thing you share.

I have those on my smaller ruler and I need to add them to my larger ruler. I used a Quilters Select Ruler and those things stick like glue, but I like the measurement markings on the Creative Grids ruler. LOL. Thank you for watching. :-) April

I find your tutorials informative and entertaining. I hope you keep making them. BTW...I can't cut or sew a straight line either. I really, really have to focus so that I'm not spending all my time ripping our seams. Hehehe....

I have to focus as well. I do find that I get better with practice, but they still aren't perfectly straight. Perfection is overrated. LOL. Thank you for watching and commenting. April

Hey April...I got a question for you. I think you said you have the quick as a wink 3 years quilt book...Would you mind doing a tutorial on the.. "In a Flash" quilt? Your fabric selection is always beautiful in your other 3 years quilts and I'm sure you would have a great set of fabrics for this one 😁

Do you not get cat hair and cat smells on your gorgeous quilts? You do great work.

The green mat on your sewing machine, where did you get that?
@aprilscraftroom3 жыл бұрын
It is called a Sew Steady Grid Glider and it smooths the bumps in your sewing machine bed where it meets the extension table or cabinet. There is an affiliate link in the description to Amazon where I purchased it or you can search for it on Google. Thank you for watching. April

I had trouble cutting a streight line with a ruler until I learned to put an eight pound dumb-bell on the far end of my ruler (before I started to cut). If it ever starts slipping on me again, I have a matching 8 pound dumb-bell to set on that slippery ruler.
