Flying Home to the Philippines from UK via Singapore Airlines + Filipino Food (Manam and Grace Park)

Hi! Guess who’s back!? I went home two months ago and I want to share with you my homecoming journey! Here’s part one of the Manila-Iloilo trip starting off with us traveling from Heathrow to a layover in Changi airport in which we had some Ya Kun Kaya toast and spicy beef noodles. We also dropped by 7-Eleven to get onigiri for Hector and Mother Earth.
We arrived in Manila and had Hector’s birthday dinner at Manam. I started my errands with Smile Bar, Uptown before calling it a night. The rest of the days went on like a blur and we had brunch with the ladies at Grace Park (finally had the chance to talk to my favorite chef, Margarita Fores) before flying home to Iloilo.

Hi. For me, Singapore airlines is the way to go 18hrs fastest to manila with 1 hr and 15-45mins layover in Changi Airport, Singapore which was voted as the best airport. Service is topnotch, food (and drinks) are good, and transfers are easy as well. Enjoy a meal at the foodcourt before leaving Changi. Have a great flight and hope this helps!
