How often are the skies this busy? That's incredible. Thanks for posting this. Sorry you couldn't get enough altitude to leave.

Not very often. Depends on conditions and how many pilots are flying. This particular day the only two thermals were small and weak so everyone was gathering in the same area and pilots weren't able to get high and leave as quickly as usual.
