Those thunder-heads 2:21 are huge. You are not able to grasp the height of those clouds from the ground. 🌩 We see those clouds all the the time when you're going to the store, the park, or even to the airport but, it's not until you get where the clouds hang out to see first hand the majesty that are clouds. 🌩 Stormy clouds. I went for my first glider ride recently. It was a wonderful way to see the cumulus clouds. We rode thermals underneath them all the way up to the base and also circled around some of them up close and at slow speed - about 50 knots. Its amazing how much power the updrafts have.

You can experience walking through clouds. Just walk outside on a foggy morning. Fog is just a ground level cloud.

If you went through a cloud you get soaked because they are filled with water

LIGHTNING WOLF You aren't soaked when you walk through a cloud (unless, of course, it's raining). You definitely notice a rise in humidity, but the air isn't usually saturated enough to precipitate out onto you. It's basically like fog, although it can be a little thicker. I live in an area with some decently high mountains, where you can walk into the cloud deck. The few that are high enough to be level with low cumulus give some beautiful views, but that's about it.

Fog is not just ground level cloud.At altitude cloud exists in turbulent wind conditions.At sea level it has to be calm before fog occurs.Once the breeze gets up, the fog disperses.Hurricane force winds with sea-level cloud have never been recorded together as it does not happen.Ever.

Coming home from West Germany in the 1970s on Eastern Airlines, we ran into some of these big cumulous clouds between the Azores and the East Coast. The pilot was weaving in and out, going around them. It was slide to the left (bump, bump) and level off, slide to the right (bump. bump) and level off. This continued for about 30 minutes, then everything was below us. It was actually kind of fun!! I used to fly Eastern everywhere. I kind of miss them, even today, when I mostly use Delta because living in southwest Alabama, they are the only airline available when I am going to St. Louis, unless I want to take American to Charlotte then back to St. Louis or Southwest to Dallas, then back to St. Louis. With Delta, I fly out of Mobile or Pensacola, FL to Atlanta for a connecting flight to St. Louis. Right now, I'd like to ditch Delta, but I'm not interested in turning a four hour flight into a six or seven hour flight!

Lex Luther Earths radius is over 12'000 km, while the plane is maybe 10km up. To put this into perspective: if earth was the size of a soccer ball (d ca 210mm), the planes altitude would be less than 0.2mm above the balls surface. No noticeable difference to standing on the surface.
