Flying in the Forest 4K // Mavic Air (with Crash)// Drone Video

Flying inside the Forest with the Dji Mavic Air, filmed in 4k 30 fps with Polar pro ND4.
This is the result of me going to the forest and training on my narrow pilotiong skills.
Also had a crash, not pilot error, Mavic just took off into the brances..
This is from a place called Fotvatnet on Karmøy in Norway.

Inbetween the trees and the treetops. Using tripodmode and active narrow sensing on the controller. Very fun and exiting to be low flying.

This entire video is beautiful. Really and truly beautiful. The comedic ending is the icing on the cake for this. Kinda says that all good videos involve a lot of leg work!! I live in Japan which itself is full of forests but have yet to try a forest video. Hopefully, I won’t hit a tree when I try to emulate your movie (had the drone stuck 23m up for a full day about a month ago and don’t want to go there again!!)

Nice relaxing video complete with the mosquitoes and black flies haha ..yes I saw a few and they couldn't bite me !!! Similar to the Canadian bush, but so often it is so thick in the north you can't even walk through it because of all the dead-falls. Amazes me how the deer and moose can run through it with out making a sound. Good job, hope your mavic is ok. Check me out Austevik, did my first very short video yesterday from my back yard up and down only lol .. Will be doing more this year with the phantom 4 and my mavic pro .. Happy flying

Absolutely beautiful footage and once again your piloting skills are out of this world. As everyone is mentioning the audio is perfect for this video and watching in 4K makes a huge difference. Personally, (being honest) I was glad to see a crash when you fly like this, I can guarantee multiple crashes (unfortunately) if I flew as tightly against the landscape as you do. Well done!!!

Thanks alot Michael! Turns out the crash was not me flying it up in the treetops. Was the drone flying up in RTH. I forgot to set it to hover.. so kind of my fault hehe. But everythings fine with it. But yeah, there has veen some crashes and always will be when flying like this 😉
