Fighters that are big for their weight class are progressively dehydrating leading up the fight in accordance with the rules of One. If you watch the replay, you can see DJ land the punch the stunned Morae, and instead of rushing in, he puts his hands out to block any possible defensive strikes while he just tracks his opponent all the way to the cage before placing that knee. That reminds me of Jones' leg kick to send DC off balance instead of rushing in. That was a surgical ending.

Heavyweight power comes from their mass, (swing and it'll hurt more), whereas wielding Flyweight level speed comes with more of a necessity for solid technique and effeciency. This has to be one of the best KO sequences to watch at 0.25 speed, seeing DJ enter space with his lifted knee and high left hand to overload Adriano with info, to predict the check left hook and load up so much power with his athletic spring then land a punch directly on Moraes ear which ruins his equilibrium. Then to follow the unstable Moraes with such grace and patience, calculating his range to land a picture perfect knee KO. Absolute top tier athletes!
