love your review. Every single Allegris review shows the camera feed being laggy. And no one except you mentioned to Lufthansa about it?? Does Lufthansa even know about this issue??

With the exception of the veal, the food actually looked pretty decent. I would be happy to try out this product on my next trip to Europe from Canada.

Thanks for great videos….you have a calming voice! Do you recall which seat numbers the window privacy seats were on Allegris, by any chance? I think I might be on the Allegris service in the Fall, as the seat map I chose from has a single line of seats down each side. Wait and see, I guess! Thanks.

Thank you! That may be the Philippines airline configuration if you see a single line of seats. The allegris privacy window seats should be 3, 5, 7, 9, 11 A & K.

At the moment nobody knows what Lufthansa is going to charge for their different kinds of seats in the future. Right now they´re all the same but you cannot make a seat reservation before online check-in, which I find rather strange. So I guess that in the end the better seats in Allegris are going to cost remarkably more than their "ordinary" seats of which I haven´t found any reviews here yet. And there must be a reason why 😆

The way the IFE controls switch back and forth from the main screen to the supplementary control screen is not weird... it's annoying! Lufthansa needs to fix that annoying feature soon. I wonder why they didn't find that glitch during testing. I would assume someone from Lufthansa's R&D would have caught it before the launch of the Alegris class of seats.

I was pretty surprised about it as well. It seems like it is intended behaviour, at least from what I can tell. But definitely an odd design choice.

Many moons ago I was invited to joing Lufthansa in an unveiling event of their previous business class product (I am a Travel Advisor selling $2.5 mill worth of air on LH). It was a grand event with a massive stage, booze and about 1000 attendees. The seat was on the stage and presented by LH's 2nd in charge. Umpteen million was spent designing this "Marvel". At the end of the presentation they had a Q&A where one could ask a question or praise the marvel. I grabbed the microfone and asked " with business class seat that reclines 90%, with a 15% angled position towards the person adjecent to you, did your R&D team miss something?. or was the last 10% omitted due to cost?. I dropped the mike and left the venue....turns out I was right, LH's business class till now has been a joke.....hopefully this will be a hit. I have 2 clients about to board LH1927 onto LH476, look forward to the feedback
