I use to have pigeons. I would not let them out after feeding them because they would take their time coming in. You can train them to come back in by rattling some food in a can and feeding them when they do come back in the cage. Later they will bomb right in at the sound. When you put your trap in make sure to make a removable board in the back so you can keep cats etc from coming in during the night. I use to get 3 sets of squabs per year per pair so the coop gets filled quick.

This is just the start cause once u get a few flying the can learn the rest to get there bearings, what will b cool is when u have 20 pigeons flying around ur house, BEST THING EVER WATCHING THE PIGEON'S OUT FLYING, BEST OF LUCK, 🇮🇪 DUBLIN 🇮🇪

I can’t wait to have a good sized team of birds going!!!

Just keep doing what ur doing and maybe all them YOUNGSTER's that are coming, U'LL get them flying as soon as they can fly, I no u have ur racing birds away from ur fancy bird's, but usually it's alot easier to get the fancy bird's flying so u should just try a few of them off, best of luck I'll be watching for the 🔔to to go off, 🇮🇪DUBLIN🇮🇪,

@@JordansHarvest can also use a whistle to call them in, need to brainwash them to believe there hungry and they’ll come in to your whistle, even when your not flying them, still whistle when you give them the seed, gets them use to the call and know when it’s food time, all the best mate, hope you breed some beauties, maybe can teach bobbyguy a thing or 2 😜

Good to see them flying. Try to let them out when they're hungry and try to associate whistling when feeding them so everytime you whistle that means food and they will come back and not hangout on the roof.

If your interested in getting geese I would stay away from the smaller breeds to start with. Owls love eating the little geese. I raise giant canada geese and have very little problem with predation.
