I always thought the Junkers JU 52 looked very similar. I saw the JU 52 fly during air shows as a kid. I think Hitler used one.

Yeah, they both have that same corrugated metal construction but the easy way to tell the difference at a glance is the JU 52 is a low wing design and this is a high wing.
