I lived in Darwin for 4 years and yeah Mindil Beach Markets were awesome, grab some food, some cold beverages and sit on the beach watching the sunset and watching the tourists swim in the water hahaha, There's normally no crocs around that area but there have known to be a few floating around from time to time.

The sunset was absolutely breathtaking and I am surprised that so many were on the beach and very near the waters edge because I thought Saltwater crocodiles were absolutely tourist taking, or is that only on Fanny Bay Beach? How were you able to tune in the ATC? Did you take a scanner radio on board? Fantastic looking food on that airline.
