I relate a lot to you Randy. I graduated recently and I have no clue what to do with my life, like at all. It's hard to maintain motivation and discipline without purpose. But I feel blessed every day that I get to watch the sun rise and set, and even if nothing goes my way, the fact that I'm still breathing makes me grateful. Stick with a routine and soon hopefully our paths may clear.

And life is just alright, going through migraine treatments, which just sucks because I have an entry level job and the finances are a literal nightmare to sort out. Trying to take mental health breaks as well. Otherwise, all good, game's the game.

As much as I can understand the sentiment behind this comment, I urge that you try not to get other people to compare their situations to others who may be ‘in way worse shape’ as this can cause some to feel like they’re overthinking, overreacting or unheard and might make them feel more unhappy. This comes from personal experience where I’ve made the same mistake. Take the time to listen to the person, because 9/10 times this is all that they need rather than a solution, and I’ll stress it again… Don’t tell anyone that there are people worse off, especially when that person feels down or vulnerable already🙂

I can relate somewhat to missing your kids and not being able to fully celebrate the good times. I was in an abusive relationship and when I tried to leave he took the two baby boys 3 and 8mths (still breast feeding) and left the state. For 12 mths I didn’t see them. In that time I couldn’t even watch tv, the shows even the the ads reminded me of my kids.

I don't think it's talked more often about how disadvantaged the dad is when it comes to child custody in contemporary times... when it in fact, should be the opposite. Studies have shown that children often do well/grow up to be useful contributors to society when they're raised by their fathers rather than from single mother households, so idk what research/evidence is used to support these laws when courts keep on denying fathers access to their child just because the mother said so.
