2:50 The flaps are used for increasing the surface of the wing such that the plane can generate enough lift at lower speeds. What you refer to Adam are ailerons. They are responsible for controlling the roll of the aircraft. Also what you saw was neither flaps nor ailerons, it was an air brake. The flaps are positioned slightly further back the wing and they extend horizontally rather than vertically (to increase the wing's surface). The ailerons on the other hand have similar movement to the air break, they deflect the air either upwards or downwards to generate the moment rolling the plane, however, they are placed closer to the tip of the wing to maximize the moment created.

This is important because if V-Stream Aviation makes any inference any aircraft is part of "their" fleet, then V-Stream will be heavily fined by the FAA for each violation. Actually are the aileron that makes the plane turn left and right, not the flaps. - Aileron=bank left/right - elevator=nose up/down - rudder=rotate left/righty the nose on the vertical axis Flaps are only used to make the wing become larger, in in order to increase lift and fly at lower speed. For example when you have to land or to take off. Flaps also helps you in the deceleration fase, due to the increased drag they create.

Might have been used by someone else, as majority of private jet owners charter it out to help with the costs of running it. Also it might have been cheaper to charter a private jet than fly his own.

this is a promo video so he's using a jet owned by the promo company. Wouldnt make sense to promote a charter company with a jet the charter company doesn't own.
