Hey Mike, awesome video. As an Osprey builder I lean on this type of stuff for motivation! Any chance you have some more adventures to share? Thanks!

I actually sold her and bought a C2 Skimmer 2 years ago because we really needed more seats. I sure miss the climb of the Osprey. New owner is thinking of selling out of Langley B.C. It should be on barnstormers. If you ever want to talk Osprey, you'll find my number with a search. I'm in Powell River

Seems like it would be easy to get water in the cockpit off the nose? Thanks for the vid. Was a fun watch.

Thanks. Yeah I'm heavy in this video. The canopy seal is done very well and there's a bilge pump in the hull for any water that does come in.

Why didn’t you show some pics of the complete exterior as well as interior??????

Because this is a video of the location and the event of getting there and leaving again. Not a for sale ad for the plane.

Thank Mike! Loved it! Wow! (Know my wife would have fallen in - me too probably :-) I flew in and visited with an old friend (Robert Evans) in Salmon Arm that was building an Osprey. Do you know what ever became of his Osprey? Cheers! Owen

No I haven't heard about that one.

@@mikekaban I'll see if I can find pictures - some while ago now though (my visit with my Osprey to Salmon Arm and with Robert was in about 2005, and I think Robert flew west in 2008). I loved flying BC. I was on the long route from Sacramento to Oshkosh!

Tough to get in and out of without a beach. I could see myself falling in off the nose easily. Even docks must be a bit tricky. But as far as amphibs go best bang for the buck.

Put the camera on top of the wing next time. Can barely tell what's happening for 10 minutes lol.
