Nice! I've been wanting to take the H225 out to a rig but the ground effect bug with elevated pads has been keeping me from trying it. Looks like it didn't give you topo much trouble on that landing.

Thanks! Yeah I'm surprised it never happened on that landing. Maybe it was the steep approach. Wheeled Gear landings are pretty awesome on heli-pads.

@@flycatNZ come to think of it, I didn’t see it happen either when I landed the Miltech Chinook on the platform just off the coast a KSBA. I thought it was the size of the pad? The ones in Alaska near Anchorage were giving me hell with the S-64

The North Sea package rigs etc I could fly through em apart from the Hejira pad so try n see :)

Hello Halfdan Bravo.. danish field from mid 00s… produce typically 32.000 barrels a day. Connected is Shelf drilling winner, former Noble Sam Turner. I’ve been working on both.. this is so amazing detailed!

On the pfd, you have an sct button. It toggles 3 modes. One of them shows lateral and longitudinal speed. Very handy to manage hover and landings. This h225 could be awesome. It needs some rework however. Sound issues, Flight model a bit strange, especially without autotrim. For now, the chinook is a much better overall beast.

HYPE need to fix the wheel compression when touching down. It is suppose to compress a lot more.

Looks pretty well done to me! I think I know what you are talking about tho, IRL when the aircraft settles it drops a further couple inches.

On taxi there is a member of the aircrew sitting near the centre door,I assume for realism. But there no pilots,makes no sense to me and looks ridiculous.

HPG - "we have the HPG SAS/ATT but no upper modes. We’re hoping to figure something out in the future to bring back the AP you’re used to with our aircraft." 🤞

2024 has helicopter AP in dev-mode, you can even play with it (not in career mode)... I have no idea why the H225's AP does not work.

@@The_Fabio_Fernandes you can force every helicopter to have AP in Dev mode, but the controls for it are in a menu, not via the actual aircraft. The system is there in the background, but nothing we can fly currently uses it.
