Thank you for the nice comments! I'm hoping this spring/summer/fall will find me exploring more with my feet on the ground... as I did in past versions of my life. : )

Superb video showing the majestic mountains! Which will be a quintessential Coast Mountains provincial park to visit for a family of 5 with a 6 year old and a 110 pound dog? Come to think of it, why don't we have a national park in the Coast Mountains? We do have 5 of them in the Rocky Mountains (Banff, Jasper, Kootenay, Yoho, and Waterton Lakes) and 2 in Columbia Mountains (Glacier and Mount Revelstoke). Btw, we are from Ontario, but frequent those Laurentian Mountain SEPAQ's national parks in Quebec.

Thank you for the nice words. Unfortunately for dog owners, a lot of the parks don't allow dogs, or they are restricted from where they can go. I think Alice Lake is a great park for families to camp at.... but dogs aren't allowed on the beaches. I think both Chilliwack Lake and Birkenhead Lake have dog beach areas - but please double check that I am correct on that! I have videos on both Alice Lake and Birkenhead Lake if you were interested. Best of luck with everything and sorry for my slow reply!

These mountains are simply epic. Thanks for the ride Les. I was looking to see if their was evidence of old glacial activity. Mind you nice to see the glacier clinging to the mountain slopes there. Good going. Have a great week. Mark

Thank you Mark! More areas I need to explore. There is a hut to stay at at Lake Lovely Water. I will hike in there someday! Hope you're doing well.

My friend Bob McGregor who was a member of the North Shore Rescue, lost his life in the Tantalus Range one year, there is a plaque dedicated to him at the top of the peak where he died. His soul shall forever and always be climbing these and other peaks.
