FLYING OVER THE TEOTIHUACAN PYRAMIDS (The best $150 I spent in Mexico)

If you're planning to visit Mexico City, I highly recommend booking a hot air balloon ride over Teotihuacan. This was my first hot air balloon experience and I loved it! The tour I booked included transportation to and from the pyramids, a sunrise hot air balloon ride, breakfast, and admission to the archeological site. I was a bit nervous, but it ended up being one of the most incredible experiences of my trip to Mexico.

it's safe if you go on an uthorized balloon. It can be unsafe if you go on a clandestine one. You have to make sure it's one that has all the permits.

Yes, I agree it's very important to go with a reputable company. I ended up feeling safe on my tour but of course there's always a little bit of risk with these kind of activities

what was the weather like in the morning? does it feel cooler as you go up?

The weather was great on the day I went. I didn't notice it get any cooler as we went up, but it was more comfortable once the sun came up. Maybe pack a light sweater or a jacket depending on what the forecast shows / time of year.

For $150 a 50 minute up in air i will pass that is more then one week of somebody's pay in mexico in just 2 hours lol
