I got stuck in the UK due to a weather condition sitting in Southern France which was a cell of Thunderstorms.
I usually fly with a buddy pilot but no one was available for this trip.

Nice one, I'm based at Hangar 13 in NWA, would like to link up next time you are around. Thanks for sharing this, keep up the vlogs. Would recommend reducing the music volume and also maybe try mounting the camera as its hard to follow due to the shaking. A 360deg camera works great for aviation content. Just one inside the cabin can capture all angles. Listing the ICAO codes of the airfields landed in the description is a nice touch. Thanks

Como to Murcia Clifford, so we can rent the Piper!!, you have various little airfields, LETX, 500 m RW but fuel is avaliable and LEMP, 1000 m, no fuel and no asphalt. There is also LELH but kind of private. Greetings! The airport LEMI is not friendly with the GA

All VFR. You can fly Europe in the summer VFR. As soon as you get south of Tour the weather is perfect from March - November. You have a nice area around bordeaux in the winter Anything south of Madrid all year round

Why were you not wearing a life jacket flying over water (English Channel) what equipment did you have for crossing English Channel, should have PLB, inflatable dingy on P2 seat and should be wearing life jacket in the very least.

@@nigeltaylor58 life jackets were on the back seat. You can wear life jackets on a crossing or have them close by. You don’t need a dingy. PLB is also on the aircraft. If you have an engine failure you follow your IA’s. You are in you best glide and you have plenty of time to put your life jacket on, circle a boat or glide to the coastline. When an aircraft flies over water is does not know. The more hazardous flying in Europe is flying over a Forest & flying over a mountain range. You need to understand how mountain waves and weather can change in the mountains

The flight is 8 hours flight time. It tends to be quicker to the UK as you tend to have tail winds heading to the UK.

Depends on where you fly to and from. From North Weald to Tours is 3hrs and then 2 hrs to Saucats Leognan Bordeaux.
