Flying taxi expects come to SFO's world conference

Science fiction movies often shows us futuristic cities with vehicles flying through the air, not mired in traffic below on the streets.
It was 61 years ago that the Jetsons first introduced audiences to the concept of flying cars.
Well now, that science fiction may soon be a reality.

this is wishful thinking! how are you going to control, coordinate, etc. everyone flying around?! many people cannot even drive without a dividing line in the middle and you expect most people to be able to fly with an imaginable line?! what happen, when it fails, and start crashing down?! there are so much foreseen condition!

You cannot walk on the freeway since it isnt safe and there are various sections with varying speed limits for safety. Aerotravel can be accomplished through designated flying zones, aided by AI.

We cant even get cruise and waymo to work properly yet. We’re definitely not there yet guys… 🙂 What’s the point of “flying taxi” anyways. SF is struggling. Looks like another setback for average citizens considering the taxes were about to have to pay for another useless project. Just for some rich guys to be able to request a Uber jet?
