Do you need an atp to fly fedex feeder? Also, if you do fly at fedex feeder and seek to continue your career at a major airline, do you have to go to fedex, or can you go to a passenger carrier like United, American, etc.

Hey There, did they have any questions or concerns on what your plan was at 1500? Or are they used to people jumping ship relatively quickly? I am nearing 1200 and was debating taking a step like this out of SMF versus continuing the CFI route...

Normally it’s best to have some 135 time but the shortage is so bad to most twins don’t care. If you plan to jump to a major you’ll need previous 135 or 121 time and your atp/ctp time with some turbo prop time got sure. Just be aware some 135s have trap clauses so stay away from any contracts.

not looking at fedex due to the hours but more united as a end game. depending where you live and the company we made around $67/hr on the 208
