Great flight review and great detail - I enjoyed reading all the text as it gave more a full review and your honest opinions. I have flown Condor long-haul from the U.S. (New Orleans to Frankfurt - full review on my blog) and I had a completely different experience. The airline only offers a limited service, but you can get some really inexpensive flights to Europe and it includes a checked baggage, a complimentary hot meal (only one meal selection available), a cold tasting before landing, and plenty of water (they had no problem handing out bottles and bottles of water). While it was not the most comfortable seat and overall flight, it was good based on the price paid.

Great video! Flew with them a few years ago, FRA-LPA and back just to exprerience the mighty 753. Back then coffee/tea and water were free of charge but everything else was exactly like you described. Few corrections and they would be much better. A superb crew on my flight too.

Erstmal danke für ein erneutes schönes Video, wie man es von Eurem Kanal gewohnt ist. :) Leider kann ich in Bezug zu Condor nur zustimmen. Bei meinem letzten Flug war ich rein vom Service her auch sehr enttäuscht (aber fliegen ist natürlich trotzdem immer was fantastisches). Condor steht oder stand für mich immer für eine qualitativ hochwertige Ferienfluggesellschaft. Aber aktuell ist es keine Ferienfluggesellschaft mehr, sondern eher eine Lowcost-Airline ohne Lowcost... Ich sehe es wie ihr: Entweder habe ich günstige Preise und bin bereit, für Dinge, auf die ich dann doch nicht verzichten möchte extra zu bezahlen oder ich habe (was ich bevorzuge) eine Airline mit Service, wo auch Getränke und das Essen im Preis inbegriffen sind (und natürlich auch der Handkoffer...) und zahle dann eben mehr für mein Ticket. Für den vollen Bordservice zahle ich gerne mal etwas mehr, vor allem wenn der Flug etwas länger ist. Ich weiß noch, als wir 2011 mit Condor im A320 von München nach Larnaca geflogen sind. Da waren Speisen und Getränke inbegriffen (und es hat super geschmeckt!). Ob das mit einem neuen Eigentümer vielleicht wieder so werden würde? Naja, jedenfalls war das schon ein viel besseres Reisen. Aber Condor steht da ja auch nicht alleine da. Jedenfalls danke für den tollen Bericht und die schönen Eindrücke aus der eleganten 757-300. Schade, dass diese Schönheit nicht mehr gebaut wird. So geht es mir auch mit der MD 80, wo ich gerade ein Abschiedsvideo von American schaue... Einen schönen Sonntag noch. :)

Wir fliegen fast jedes Jahr mit der Condor von DUS nach AYT und zurück. Wir können uns absolut nicht beschweren. Zufriedenstellende Beinfreiheit, sehr freundliches Personal. Und wenn man das Familienpaket im Voraus bucht, sind Snacks, Getränke und Sitzplatzreservierung kostenlos! Und ich finde, dass die Preise an Bord vollkommen gerechtfertigt sind. Das einzige, was fehlt, ist das Entertainmentsystem an jedem Platz. Aber das ist für einen 3-Stunden-Flug verschmerzbar.

Ich denke, solange Condor immer noch so gut gebucht ist, wird sich der Service nicht ändern. Bin zwar selbst noch nicht mit denen geflogen, habe es aber schon von Freunden gehört, daß es so sein soll. Und warum sollte es dann geändert werden, läuft ja wohl. Die 757-300 ist auch mein absolutes Lieblingsflugzeug, einfach wahnsinnig schön auch mit der Retro Kabine. Vielen Dank für´s mitnehmen

I’m sorry but there is a Good Price for a flight to Crete. You paid just around 300€ .. If you would take the train from Düsseldorf to Frankfurt, you have to pay 90€ just for a travelling with a train about 1:45 minutes, there is also no Service included...

Letzte Woche sind wir mit Condor von Leipzig nach Teneriffa geflogen, und selbst auf einem 5 Stunden Flug gibt es nicht mal einen kleinen Snack oder so, nur völlig überteuerte Essen und der halbe Liter Wasser für 3 Euro. Eine Frechheit!!! Bis auf die Besatzung und den noch relativ neuen A321 neo war alles von vorne bis hinten schlecht!

Like all airlines they have to safe money but I always experienced a very professional and friendly crew. However they should keep the 757 as long as they can..

I don't think it's fair how the total rating on many reviews gets drastically lowered because there is no WiFi. Lots of airlines don't have it, when they do it’s always slow, and it’s very expensive. That’s why I and most other people don’t even bother using it.

That aircraft is configured w/275 seats. You'd think w/all those passengers they'd be making at least a decent profit & could afford to offer a better product. I read 1 report that rated airlines from best to worst worldwide. Condor/Thomas Cook was the worst, ha. Still like u said, the chance to fly on a 757-300 I guess makes it worth it. Enjoyed the vid as always. ✌

Sehr schöner Flugbericht! Der Preis war erstaunlich hoch, den du bezahlt hast. Ich finde Flüge nach AYT oder PMI für 40 bzw 50€. Wahrscheinlich war es einfach Pech zu der Zeit, in der du geflogen bist weil es den Flug bestimmt billiger gibt. Aber bei einem Punkt kann ich dir zustimmen, die Sitzplatzreservierung ist viel zu teuer! Selbst in der letzten Reihe zahlt man 10€. Trotzdem tolles Video. Viele Grüße vom Bodensee Richtung München

I went with Condor to Brazil Fortaleza few years back and it was a horrible experience, the legroom was non-existent,the IFEs voucher was insanely expensive, the seats were really uncomfortable and the food sucked as well, I can go on and on... to this day I regret I did not pay a little bit more and flew with TAP Portugal,there is no way there as lame as Condor is...but the crew was nice that has to be said as well. And to finish things off,dude that bathtub was really dirty... and I think any aircraft lover delights boarding by bus as you can really admire the whole airplane up close.

You can get return flights with Condor for less than 60€ and you can pay 500€ for a flight with Ryanair. It all depends on when and where you want to go. Sorry but all those butthurt comments about how much you paid for your ticket are just stupid.

You are wrong, there's not only junk food on Condor short-/medium haul flights like on Ryanair etc. There are actually real menus to order. Some of them you can get on board without preordering it before the flight, some other you have order before your flight. And the second thing: you critisize the higher amount of money to spend, but without real extras included. Look at all other charter airlines in Germany! TUIfly for example does exact the same thing, Germania was the only one not going with this trend, but you know, what happened to them... And it's not a miracle that german airlines have to increase the price to make the same profit like airlines from other countries, because of the german gorvernment weaken them with their Luftverkehrssteuer (=high fees for flying). In other countries there doesnt exist anything comparable...

There are no real menus to order on board. Hot meals can only be preordered. Just have a look at the inflight menu shown in the video or on Condor‘s website. The Luftverkehrssteuer is only explaining a difference in price of about 10-15€. There are comparable taxes in Scandinavia, France, Italy, Austria and other European countries. It’s sad to see airlines increasingly ignoring customer‘s needs. TUIfly does the same, yes. But is that an excuse?

I only fly Ryanair, they are really cheap, have meany tingd in the menu for purchase, and the service is not any different infact better than those traditional airlines like TUI or Condor.
