Flying the ICON A5 on a Cross Country Flight | Seattle to Spokane, WA

What's the range of the ICON A5? It's a question we at ICON Aircraft receive on a consistent basis. I recently had the chance to fly the A5 from Seattle to Spokane, WA, making a stop at Grant County International Airport.

Paul, I work in aviation and our company is based at BFI. I live in Spokane. My commute would be much better with something like this, what was total flight time from RNT to , I am assuming GEG? Great Video. Thank You.

Can you please be factual in where you flew from. That's Renton Field, hence all the 737's and Renton Boeing to your right at 0:07 in the video.

Hello Paul the A5 has 20gal tank can it take off with 2 people and full tank ?

Hey Darren - the A5 has a useful load of 430 pounds. So 20 gallons would leave you with about 300 pounds to distribute between two people, so rarely would you take off with two people at a full tank. 12 gallons would likely get you wherever you want to go comfortably with a reserve. For this flight, it was more than enough for us to get through the first leg on our journey. Also for reference, the max takeoff weight of the A5 is 1510lbs.
