I just booked a $78 round trip from Ohio to Fort Lauderdale. As long as the passenger is willing accept the Spirit experience, that is, non-stop bus in the sky, most flight experiences will be just fine. Now that Spirit offers flight credit for changes, it was worth it to me to gamble I'll be taking that trip in November 2024.

I’m on my spirit flight from SNA to OAK. flying go big and I gotta say I am very happy! Great flight, WiFi works great. The go big amenities make you feel like you’re in first class even if you don’t have “all” the perks other can provide. I would suggest Spirit for any short flight!

I paid 147 for a one way from Seattle to Las Vegas. The ticket price included their go big bundle which I had no idea about when I booked the big seat. It included a checked bag, carry on, big seat, priority boarding, free WiFi, free drinks, snacks, and crazy enough, it included alcohol. Definitely something I did not expect them doing but not too bad.

The boarding pass happened to me and my family once coming back from Medellin in late July

Got stuck at TPA overnight after United cancelled my flight... all they gave me was 150$ and a 100$ travel voucher which I couldn't use with other future flight credits. It was bullshit because I had to sleep in the airport and I'm a minor.

In a bizarre twist, the ULCC's are now losing market share to the legacies, according to the media. Is this a win for passengers? I don't know...only AS Aviation can provide an analysis video on it LOL!

While somewhat irrelevant, I think that Hainan Airlines should launch a Tampa-Beijing nonstop flight. At least it could be the "guinea pig" flight. Moreover, Tampa is larger than Orlando, so it makes sense to me that Hainan considers Tampa first, then other Sunshine State cities including Orlando as well as Fort Lauderdale (instead of Miami, imo at least). It also could be without a stop at a West Coast destination heading towards Beijing (an example of this would be Hainan's route from Boston to Beijing via Seattle).

This landing looked a lot smoother than the one arriving TPA! 😂

Any chance you might try flying out of Midway? I tried it for the first time this year and already prefer it to O’Hare, despite only using it twice compared with the countless times I’ve been at O’Hare.
