FLYING THROUGH A STORM! FINNAIR (British Airways) Airbus A320-214 Naples to London Heathrow [OH-LXM]

Great flight review mate, always have wanted to try FinnAir but yet haven't got around to it yet! Heard Qantas are doing a similar wet lease arrangement with FinnAir for some of their flights from the East coast to Asia soon too

I had a British Airways flight operated by Finnair last year from London Heathrow to Prague! Back then they were using the Airbus A321 sharklets. I reckon it's because British Airways must be short on crew as they use a Finnair Plane + Crew even though British Airways have enough planes but they provide catering.

They have enough, but they lease aircraft on wet lease agreements to increase capacity. Finnair have offered wet-leasing services to many airlines to try and get out of financial difficulties.

Ah, I see. Also planes that are operating for British Airways from Finnair can vary, some flights can be Finnair flights then they may operate for British Airways, they don't usually have the exact same aircraft for the whole of the summer period. Happened to me, the day before it was on a Finnair flight from Helsinki to London LHR then was on my British Airways flight to Prague the next day.

Correct. This aircraft (OH-LXM) was only in Helsinki a day prior!

It sounds like the staff on board Were Finnair crew from Finland, not just the aircraft belonging to FInnair
