Love it when Mike is with you … it’s really fun to see the obvious respect you have for each other and how well you work together … CRM doesn’t have to be dull, boring, routine, or pro forma … just both friendly and professional … it’s a pleasure to see … thanks for showing how to do it …

I take my young son to KDTS all the time with a vhf receiver and we sit out and watch the planes land and take off. Its been amazing watching that turn from a small air strip when I was little to what it is now. Great video.

Thanks, he is. I am making some new videos but, some of the older ones like this I think the reason I didn't make was the fact I was flying four different types of aircraft and busy as heck.

10.1.24 Sweet video, WX on departure, beautiful light into Destin, the old Citation taxiing past at Destin, the light departing Destin and the camera frame rate did not interfere with the PDF during the arrival at Spirit. And of course the pleasure of you and Mike working together. Thanks.

Weather avoidance can be a challenge at times. It is easier, however, in a fast jet. People would sometimes ask me about, "...flying through thunderstorms ....." and the answer was always an easy one. " I DO NOT fly through thunderstorms." Then on to an explanation that thunderstorms are where things like HAIL live. Vertical winds shears and tornados live there too. Be Safe

What causes those instruments on the panel to flicker.
@captmoonbeam3 күн бұрын
The 3 displays that flicker in the videos are older CRT's with a refresh rate of about 60 hz (Like the old TV's) The Gopro's can't sync with this. But, as the light changes and the cameras adjust you do see some improvement as the light gets dimmer.

Just an observation. When a professional in this role feels the need to use profanity to make a point in passing, I feel this is really deters from their integrity. Profanity is a high scool thing. Get over it.
