Needs a upgraded cabin. Two thirds of the seats face inwards so you spend 9 hours looking straight at a stranger. The windows are behind you. You have to get out of the seat to lay it flat. On both flights i was told my food choices had run out despite only being about 5 rows back. The Upper Wing at Heathrow is excellent

I spotted you yet again! pause at 11:07 and look at the red car to the very right 😆 most spotters were out on Nov 30 so there's a good chance it wasn't just me, but others! Very nice video anyways, my dream is to fly on virgin's upper class one day!

Great video as usual. I prefer the dimmable windows of the 787. The cabin looked so much better than with the blaring sun. The seat looks worn and tired. Enjoy your stay on island.

Got to experience the Upper Class checkin at Virgin Atlantic (twice). First day Delta flight was cancelled 😢, so we got the full experience on day 2. Absolutely the best! Love your videos.

Virgin Atlantic Airways got the best upper class and New Seats for many flying with them between London and Beyond I hope to try them out on every Virgin Atlantic Airways flight!!!!

Virgin Upper is a great way to travel .. the older seat has more storage space than the latest new seat. Who ever approved the new seat has made a lousy choice, and a poor reflection on the designers. Having been flying with Virgin for over 30 years, Upper Class food is not as good as it used to be .. Mr Branson / Mr Weiss, 'take note' please.

I do prefer the counter next to the seat on their newer aircraft. Although I am no fan of the removal of the Upper Class bar. ‘The loft’ isn’t the same.

Great video and very informative but personally I didn't like the layout of the cabin it certainly looked a bit shabby it parts and as for the food service it certainly didn't qualify as a upper class standard, Virgin have certainly lost their magic and really do not look better than anyone else. The lounge at Heathrow looked modern but again food offering looked average .

Another great review - thanks 👍. Have to agree about the Virgin crews, but have to disagree on the food. The portion sizes are still dismal and to suggest two scones (and nothing else) constitutes an afternoon tea is poor value for money in my humble opinion

Great review, but on the basis of a group of my friends, who travelled premium to the US for golf, I won’t ever fly Virgin. Plus I think that layout is poor. Who doesn’t want to look out a window?

Yes, the food is free. I think there are disabled facilities but can’t be 100% sure.

That seating configuration is awful. You'd have to be a contortionist to be able to look out the window. Air Canada had the same configuration but, thankfully, got rid of it on most long-haul aircraft.
