Can you comment on the quality of the audio from the headsets in reviews? In comparison to a decent set of headphones as airline ones are normally cheap with muffled sound. I take my own Sony noise cancelling set instead of using the supplied ones. You can use a USB BT dongle to make any seat wireless if not watching your own device,

Good video. I am considering taking Virgin up on their status match offer, that they recently announced. I am currently BA Gold, and am considering joining the Virgin Flying Club but not sure if their programme is very good. Can you share your thoughts on whether it might be worthwhile. I fly about 5 or 6 long hauls per year (so could easily move most of them from oneworld to skyteam), with roughly another 5 to 10 being into Europe, therefore would likely keep my BA club account going as well.

Great video. Whilst I love the A380, I consciously choose to fly on the Qatar 777-300 Q Suite as it's a much better product. The 777 QSuite is the most spacious of their variours iterations, therefore has been my choice on recent flights ive taken with them, including last week. I agree that the service is top class. In the last 2 months i've been on 8 Qatar business class flights, and aways had great service and food. Looking forward to your next videos.

Good review, thank you. I’d only go on QR if it was the Q suite echoing what others have said about the lack of privacy. If flying via Arabia I would recommend Etihad or Gulf Air having flown them both in business in the last year. The bar looks nice though.

When I tried to prebook my seats in Premium economy for my LHR-JFK trip, it wasn’t free and asked for £85!

Good review as usual. Although, I believe it's the Qsuite that is ranked as the world's best business class experience, not QR's legacy/standard business class product.

I have had 4 flights with QR in the last week - the WiFi was terrible on all 4 aircraft. But they were the 777 with the Qsuite, which is very nice . Great review!

Jet Blue needs to switch to Coca-Cola. And get rid of Pepsi.

We have flown Qatar several times from Perth to London and Miami on there 380’s and 777’s Magnificent service every time, the crews are always brilliant… Great review as always… We never ever had an issue with the wifi… and loved dining on demand

I am due a trip to Sydney in the near future and the lack of privacy on the non Q Suite product would be a deal breaker as the modern Club Suite on BA would be a deciding factor on a humungous journey like this as a good sleep in a cocoon like environment would be essential. I look forward to your Q Suite review. My mum tried it lasy year and thought it was wondrous especially in comparison to the BA Club Suite!

Now when QR have decided to keep the A380s they are considering upgrading wifi and perhaps other things. But the seat, despite being 10 years old is quite nice and very similar to B787-9. But the best experience with the QR 380 is the free upgrade to first :)

If they flew to where I wanted to go... may be I would fly on them... but it is unlikely that I ever will. It is always nice to see videos like this to show what there is out there

Just flown KLM Norwich AMS SIN in business absolutely brilliant, did Emirates via Dubai last time in business, no comparison KLM was far superior, I think sometimes passengers on Emirates get carried away with the hype, and any change of plane in Dubai usually takes place in the middle of the night and the terminals can be hectic, I would rather do a transfer in Changi anytime rather than Dubai…

I'll take Delta Premium over all others because of the foot rest. I'm 5'5 and the fold down ones on the seat in front aren't all that reachable. The ones that flip up like a lazy boy are heavenly. We flew Austrian Air premium and it was awful simply because of this one thing.

Great tips! I'm flying JNB-LHR in August on the 787 and I have 25K. It's not available right now but I'd like to move up to 21 and take any of those seats. I care mostly about not having someone recline on me. Is 25K a good seat?

Camera Question: You used a GoPro in the window, what was the device you used to go around the camera to cut the glare?

One of the best airline reviews I've seen. After flying PE, I tried to return to Ec, but when I landed at Heathrow, I immediately upgraded to PE for the return flight to Vancouver. I've always flown on a 350, but the flight coming up is a 777. I will be interested in seeing if there is a difference.

Very succint video as always. Not a fan of those seats - facing inwards, have to get out to change into a bed. English sparkling wine rather than champers seems like a bit of cost-cutting. However, the FAs are usually terrific and the best part is the LHR Club Lounge.

The F&B looked cheap.

Disgraceful BA is a fortune and they can’t even clean their planes properly ,that’s a shame … if it’s me I mention to the flight attendants in the beginning of my flight You eat there with respect and you pay for that seat enough money And they can’t bring the standard… it’s a good video Informative and show the real face of BA thank you Mate!

Definitely not worth the price. Cabin is OK, service is good, but the food portion is on the small side.

I booked the Upper Class from Manchester to Vegas as it was the newer aircraft but it's changed to the old style 😢. Was looking forward to the new style smaller UC cabin. I agree the 'coffin style' are due an upgrade.

Can I ask why you prefer 11a? Do you not get bothered with people at the bar?

I booked WT+ as an upgrade on a return flight from Denver to London Heathrow. This was the most "expensive worst flight" I have ever experienced while travelling long-haul. Two of us, checked in together and confirmed we were travelling together and stupidly didn't double check the seating and found ourselves separated by six rows of seats in a fully booked crammed cabin. I'm sure there was more room in our original booking. I asked if we could be seated together and got a shrug. Pre-ordered meals came out and my wife got her vegetarian choice My meal (a beef dish) - "we have none left" OK what can I have, "eerrrm we have a pasta dish left over......" I complained and received a" boilerplate" reply - Three times I called and complained - countless times and was told "terms and conditions" I ranted so hard that they eventually said they "understood my frustration" and gave me a £100 BA voucher that I had to use within 12 months when booking another BA flight. I told then they could stuff it! The irony was that the outgoing (economy with booked seats) flight to Washington was a joy a joyful cabin crew who were helpful and attentive kept us refreshed with water and generally made us feel wanted. It was for that reason we upgraded to come back home so expected a similar but better experience. NEVER NEVER NEVER again!

I would avoid BA at all costs. I said never again years ago but had limited flight options for my Jan annual leave, so took the chance thinking how bad could it be........ 10.5 hrs later, my experience years ago was still the same. I flew econonmy out of Gatwick (5hr drive for me) and it was beyond poor. The cabin crew were curt, the plane was outdated and scruffy, the food was terrible, drink service was sparse with limited options. I'm lucky enough to fly quite frequently with work or holidays and BA genuinly are the pits. The long haul 'premium economy' in this video looks to me worse than leading airlines standard economy. The BA economy I experienced last week was similar to flying Ryan Air for 10.5 hrs and I'm dreading my return flight. How BA manage to still have a good reputation is beyond me....... their stalwarts really need to fly other carriers to understand modern airlines standards and how they operate, as do BAs senior team.

One thing to note, we flew Virgin Premium last year on the A350-1000, family of 4 and sat the back 4 seats and we didn’t need pay for selected seats. Booked BA Premium 787 this year for a family of 4 in the same seating area and to pre book our seats it’s cost an extra £312 on top of the cost of the flight for 4 of us. Not impressed. Only booked BA Premium this year to see how they compare, but I feel they’ll struggle to beat Virgin Premium as they were near perfect.
