So I'm in midst of a snowstorm where we wont be dug out before noon tomorrow (its currently 6:40pm where I am in Canada). Its Dec 28 2020 and I'm trying to fill the void where post-Christmas let down can creep in. So I'm binge watching older Grack videos and the absolute excitement and pure joy about every single thing and place in New York from you Grace is so fun to watch. I hope you never change. Your love of life and appreciation for even the small stuff is infectious and wonderful. You're the age of my youngest son, yet you're teaching me so much without me always realizing it. Ive noticed myself being much more intentional about truly enjoying stuff I have always just taken for granted and probably never really properly enjoyed because I wasn't focused on the beauty of the simple moment or whatever. Saying this so wrong. Basically I'm truly finding some magic in life's daily little pleasures. Wouldn't think a vlog from a stranger less than half my age could spark such meaningful changes to how I view my little daily life, but it truly has. I think you've got a magical gift Grace, of living a life full of examples on how to do life right in a world quit pampered and fast paced where many of us don't realize how much joy we are missing but could easily have if we look at it differently. I found myself wishing I was friends with your mom. She raised you all so well that, even without the clips on your channel where she appears, I can tell she is my kind of person. My son is coming over tomorrow. He/I are the only people in each others lockdown bubble and he lives alone otherwise. I'm going to introduce him to your channel. I think he is going to enjoy for same reasons I do. His sweet soul reminds me so much of your outlook on life and tender heart. This is a old video so you'll likely not see this comment but if you ever do, just know that you've got a random mom over in Canada that is cheering you on in life much the way that I am also rooting for my sons successes. I went to New York last December for the first time (after 8 years of not having a holiday abroad lol) and I was just as excited as you were about seeing all the American shops like cvs, dunkin etc😂😂 the food portions over there are massive and the drinks are huge!!
