Hey guys! My dad flew C-46s and C-47s during WWII in the Pacific. He thought me how to fly as a child and I was in the USAF for 20 years... Dad died in 1991. It's great to see these birds still flying... The memories of and with him abound! Thanks!!

The guy is the worst. He’s the stereotypical owners son. Does he fly? No. Can he work on planes? No. When they went to the UK to spend hundreds of thousands of dollars on Electras and parts not only did he not shadow his dad to learn anything he went out and got drunk. He also couldn’t be bothered to wear a pair of pants and maybe a collared shirt. Guy schedules flights. Look at his smirk about Jeremy getting his write up. I guarantee zero people see him as a boss at that company.

@@coolsidecool He's the general manager man chill and yeah you're right, maybe no one deos seem him as a boss and that's because he's not, tha's Joe. In terms of what he wears, look around the whole company, everyone does including the most senior pilot because it's not that strict on dress code. But when things get serious, Mikey does show his worth for example when he found what was thought to be an abandoned CL-215 in Venezuela I believe, or in this episode, finding out about the avgas situation and getting as much as they could. Heck he even managed to save everyone's jobs when Joe wanted to shut down Buffalo after the company needed an Accountable Executive and Joe couldn't be it. I personally would have more of an issue if Mikey didn't do the job but he has and continues doing so.

@@TalkieToaster. That's not really true. Yes all aircraft can fly indefinitely with repairs, but not profitably. A real killer of old planes is structural cracking and corrosion.
