@@thebaldshredder I did. Can you tell me how you got the rhythm guitar to sound like that at 6:30? It's so clean for a distortion/fuzz. I am still learning. I own a Spider V 240MKii amp but the only real way to get good clean sounds is USB cable and the Spider app on my Macbook Pro.
@AkersTimothy3 жыл бұрын
By clean, I meant the distortion is so clean sounding.
@thebaldshredder3 жыл бұрын
Tim all the guitar parts in the video are recorded on my computer. Guitar into Line 6 interface GX and then using POD Farm software for the amp sounds. If you want a more clean sound, try backing off the gain/distortion and presence.

Nice video man. I've been trying to decide on a kit to build. I've never built a kit,but have been modding guitars for a couple years, and it turns out I'm pretty good at it. Now I've moved on to wanting to build kits of guitars I've always wanted but can't afford. Lol these seem to be good kits, and that's what I'm looking for. Good "bones" to make really killer guitars. I think I may go with guitarkitworld after watching your video. Nice playing too. 🤘
@thebaldshredder3 жыл бұрын
Hey you sound like me! I just started modding and building guitars a couple of years ago. I was never brave enough to try it. Now I can't stop! Have you seen my latest video with the orange guitar? And definitely check out Guitar Kit World. I only have the one kit from them, but it's fantastic. The neck and fretwork are flawless. Highly recommend.
@randymiles9043 жыл бұрын
@@thebaldshredder haha! That's awesome. Yeah man, I was scared of screwing something up. I would save and get a guitar, and there was no way I was gonna mess it up. Lol it finally took me taking my brand new ec1000 to a "pro" $250 later it played BETTER, but still had buzzing. So I decided right then, I was going to figure it out so I got in KZbin and forums, and just started doing it. Fast forward 2 years later, I've worked on countless guitars for friends, and have made a good chunk of money. I would tell them I didn't want to charge, because it was practice for me but most would make me take the money after playing their instruments. I worked on a Gibson Les Paul gold top for a coworker. He forced me to take $300. That's when I knew I really was capable. So now I want to start doing kits. Thank you for the info. I'll definitely check out your other videos.

So there I was...Looking around to see where I can find a good DIY guitar kit. The new kits mostly have have horrible necks. I ran across Guitar Kit World. On the main page, there is The Bald Shredder!...lol. This really happened today. Of course I had to check it out. I am looking to build a "PRS type" guitar. I have never built a guitar before, so this should be comical, at the very least. Great video, BTW! Rock on!

4:11 that’s cause CNC machines do the JOB these days .. that’s why I don’t get how any USA manufacturers that use CNC machines think their guitars are worth 3000+ these days .. they’re not .. I mean if it was lovingly hand carved and wired and all that maybe but these days anything we can CNC china and Indonesia can just as well. Provided they just watch the quality control

Hrrmm sez great kit to build cause I never built one I never even soldered... later in the video.. the neck pick up wire is too short "Luckily I know how to solder"... That said I have looked at their kist and the woodwork seems to be better then most kits out there but like the others the electronics leave a lot to be desired. Specially if you are an established player. Might not be an issue for a new player which is what I think they are gearing these kits towards.
