Hey, I am in Valle Gran Rey right now. One of the clouds looks like NE wind (at 6:11). How did you decide if the thermals were strong enough so that they would block the NE and how did you check if the wind in the valley is not to strong? It was I really sunny day today with almost no clouds, but I still found a lot of wind at the playa ingles and wasnt sure if the conditions were ok to fly today. Windy showed 8 knt from NE and the clouds looked like the one in 6 11. Maybe someone can give me some tips. Thank you guys and thanks for the video. :)

La Mérica is the plateau north of Valle Gran Rey. There is a steep serpentine path the 700 up there, but i took the bus to Arure and then the flat and scenic path to the very comfortable launch of La Mérica. Each of the 3 flights was about 2 hours long, and could have been longer.
