Some good tips. Thank you. The carrier that you showed seems bigger than the dimensions you showed. I have a smaller Sherpa brand carrier, but it’s the required one for international travel. Also, to travel from Canada to France both the dog and the carrier have to weigh less than 8 kilos.

The getting used to it prior to the trip is the best advice! I work from home so am going to start training my dog now! I would have never thought to put her under my feet while I work but that makes so much sense!
