As I said, I’m very slow in terms of editing, but I like to experiment with animations and editing techniques, which usually takes a lot of time. It’s so much fun exploring the options of my editing and animation software. Anyway, there is a lot more material to be released. Would be glad to see you on my little channel again :-).

Very nice video. So happy to see another video of the 328 Jet. It's a real shame that this company went bankrupt. The 428, 528,728,928 etc, would have been excellent to see and great competitors in the Regional Jet marketplace!
@travelmentaryTV3 жыл бұрын
Hello, thank you very much for watching and commenting! I agree Dornier developed some very advanced planes, including a VTOL military cargo jet. Unfortunately the company had to face a very unfortunate turn of events. With that being said there is still a chance that the 328 Jet will continue to be built in future, as it has some unique capabilities to offer. Christian from travelmentary TV

What a fine piece of german engineering,german technology is well known for great craftsmanship imagine if germany starts remanufacturing planes small ,medium ,or large it'll be a big seller 🇩🇪
@travelmentaryTV5 жыл бұрын
As far as I know the plans of the Dornier 328 belong to an American company called Sierra Nevada Corporation. A Turkish defense business wanted to build it in Ankara, but terminated that project a few years ago. Another German company, which is responsible for the maintenance of Dornier planes, also wanted to restart production, but the status of that is unknown. Last thing I heard is they wanted to open a production facility in Bremen, but they didn't manage to acquire a suitable piece of land. Thanks for watching!

Mar From what I have read there is only a letter of intent. With the current recession and the situation of airlines worldwide it remains to be seen whether that will happen or not. It’s a difficult time to build a plane.
@marxxmann87584 жыл бұрын
@@travelmentaryTV it's not that difficult as you may think we are humans and we build anything we put our minds to do meaning that put aside whatever politics germans think outside the box when it comes to machinery building

Joseph Rondon I am referring to the financial parameters of such project. It will be extremely difficult to get the funding needed. With the current recession and the aviation market going downhill, I only see a very small chance for that. Time will tell.

Actually I considered doing one, but then there was a terrible crash in Switzerland at the airline I was thinking to fly with. Since then regulations have changed and it became difficult to find a flight. So although it‘s a fascinating plane, I don‘t think I will be able to produce a video about it.

Hi and good to see you here! Yeah, they made some nice planes that are still competitive today. There probably is a market for such a model and I think somebody actually bought the plans of it. Too bad though, that the Dornier 728 wasn’t completed.

Ryan Essex, So sad, Germany doesn't have the right to build planes because it is still 'occupied' by the U S regime.
@travelmentaryTV5 жыл бұрын
Designing and building a large aircraft costs billions of dollars and requires a European effort, not only in financial terms, but also to share engineering and production capabilities. All these considerations were successfully realized in what we today know as Airbus, where various European nations participate in building state of the art airliners. It is a misconception to believe that a small country could do this alone, especially in an ever changing world where China and other players enter the scene. As far as smaller planes are concerned, production of a new version of the Dornier is about to restart in the next couple of years (there is a letter of intent and a production facility in Leipzig, Saxony is about to be built. Thanks for watching!

Very interesting flight report. I'm a spotter from Friedrichshafen and I am really impressed about this video! You told many facts which are very interesting and your edit style is one of the best I've ever seen! I would love to try out this airline but they are very expensive especially for me as a pupil... How many passengers were on board? Thanks a lot for sharing your experience:)
@travelmentaryTV6 жыл бұрын
Hi, thanks for watching and your comment, your feedback is much appreciated. As to the airline I agree it’s expensive. This is due to the fact that nobody else serves this route and they have probably the right fleet for it. Most passengers are business travelers and their companies pay the ticket. The plane itself was 50% loaded on that particular flight. Merry Christmas and thanks again for watching.

Although this flight is expensive normally (€170-€200), you can book a reward flight for only 4,000 Avios + €21 off-peak.

I was just curious what meal they serve in the morning flight. That’s just because I know that for the afternoon/evening flight they serve Schnitzel with potato salad from a local bakery located just 1 mile away from Friedrichshafen Airport. Looking forward to my weekend trip to Hamburg in a few weeks. I paid 310€ (while prices start from 270€). But since I can sleep for free in Hamburg and I live and work 6 miles away from the airport, I don’t have too many additional costs and no need for a 1 day leave here ;-) And since I’m a local, you definitely should take a flight with the airship. It’s also very expensive but it’s a very unuiqe experience even in the home town of airships :-) I know that most flights are sold out.

Hi, thanks so much for your insightful comment, very interesting to read about your experience with that airline. Seems they have a contract with a local bakery that delivers the food, I like that. Please speak slowly when you talk...
@travelmentaryTV6 жыл бұрын
You know, I can’t make it right for everybody, I’m afraid. If I speak slower, people will complain that it’s boring. Moreover most of my viewers are native speakers and haven’t had trouble understanding me so far. But most importantly, I speak how I speak, it’s part of my self, my personality and I won’t start acting here in a way that is not representative of who I am. So no, I won’t change the way I talk in my videos. I am who I am, I speak how I speak and you either accept that or not. Maybe this is just not the right channel for you and you would want to look for other channels that meet your expectations better than I do. Here are my recommendations for you: *Paul’s Trip Reports* (with voice), *Amandeuce* (subtitles), *Dennis Bunnik* (voice), *Simply Aviation* (mostly subtitles). *Sam Chui* might be a channel you would enjoy. But there are many others as well, so you should be able to find somebody who speaks slowly. I wish you a great day and I am pretty confident that you find somebody that speaks slowly.
