In March 2014, we flew my Sea Eagle Paddleski 435ps to Fort Lauderdale with out destination of the Florida Keys. The 2 person, 14' kayak flew for free on South West Airlines. In a 2nd bag we took the full sail rig and boating accessories. We used very light weight luggage carts to cart the bags around the airport. As we were only staying a few days, or regular luggage went in out carry on bags meaning we took the 2 boat bags for free. It does seem like a good idea to use a durable bag on an airline as you did. On the 435ps, that would bring it over the 50 lbs limit for free transport. It survived fine, but perhaps more risky just using the thin Sea Eagle boat bag. My Razorlite bag might be fine though which is thicker, but it's one person if my wife wanted to come kayaking too. Also, inflatable vests weight less and pack down to nothing, so I use those.

Another wonderful video, Cliff, awesome cinematography. Had a great dinner at a crab shack in Annapolis once. That EZLite10 looks the business. We've been enjoying our 437PS on the Yellowstone River here in Montana. You should come visit!!

Thank you so much for watching and the kind comments! Oh, I would love to come out to your area of the country and paddle and explore. Maybe someday… the last time I was in Yellowstone was as a middle schooler about 48 years ago.

Your videos are all so helpful. Can you tell me which rolling duffle on Amazon you would recommend?

Hi there! That is on my list to buy a better one and see how it does. I will definitely do a video on the one that I find and end up using. This is the one that I plan on buying, I think it will work perfectly with the EZLite10! www.llbean.com/llb/shop/129461?page=adventure-rolling-duffle-bag-137-liters&csp=a&feat=129460-recsbottom.pdp&ri=rbpIFI1&pos=3&attrValue_0=Deep%20Admiral%20Blue

About how long did this paddle take? I know the area and my folks live in Baltimore. That kayak gave an impressive performance.👍

Thanks for watching and commenting! On this paddle, I explored for about 2 hours. Just up and back.

Hey Cliff, do you have any idea if Sea Eagle will make a two person version of this lightweight boat?

😉They "might" be working on it now!

Thanks Cliff... beautiful spot from the water. I've never been to Annapolis before but it really is a nice area to visit. Nice seeing you post another water video. How did the bike trip go in Arkansas, earlier this past summer? Gord
@KayakCliffАй бұрын
Thanks Gord! I had to scrub the Arkansas ride last weekend, too many things to do prior to my daughter's wedding in about four weeks..... still getting out on the bike though. Taking it with me this week to Lancaster, Pennsylvania for a really nice rail trail ride one evening.
@gorrddАй бұрын
@@KayakCliff Awesome, Cliff. Lancaster, PA should be getting some color by now and that will be a really nice break from the muted Texas autumns. Nevertheless, we do have these wonderful extended summer autumns here in DFW. Hope you take some videos of your ride. What rail trail are you planning on taking? Gord
@KayakCliffАй бұрын
@gorrdd it's a rail trail along the Susquehanna in Lancaster County.
@gorrddАй бұрын
@@KayakCliff @KayakCliff It must be the Northwest Lancaster County River Trail that runs along the Susquehanna. That should be fun.. enjoy!😊 Gord

Hi Cliff, Where did you launch from? I'm a Marylander, about 45 minutes away from Annapolis. Great video as always.

Hey there, Sarah - here's where I launched. It's a neighborhood setting with no parking lot, you just have to park along the curb. Great secluded place. Launch Spot: Amos Garrett Park 111 Spa View Ave Annapolis, MD 21401

Great video Cliff! Nice review of the EZLite10. I have a GoPlus inflatable tandem kayak that I reviewed on my channel as well but I had my eye on the EZ Lite10 for a while. I might get a 1 person kayak too and this may be it. I don’t know if it’s available here in Canada though. Anyway, I really enjoyed your video. Thanks for posting it. 👏🏻👏🏻

I have 2 EZ Lites now, they are awesome, very comparable to our Old Town Loon 111 hard side kayaks. I bought the small skeg as well and it works great. But I recently cut the original skeg down, basically in half and it is awesome. The original skeg provided by SeaEagle is way too long for the boat, makes it difficult to launch in shallow water and constantly scraping on things if you do any shallow water boating.
