Flying with SWISS (A321)🇨🇭🇨🇭🇨🇭 from Zurich, Switzerland, to Porto, Portugal

Flying with Swiss International Airlines (SWISS) from Zurich, Switzerland, to Porto, Portugal. The flight was operated with an Airbus A321. And the total flying time was approximately 2 hours and 20 minutes. Both the takeoff in Zurich as well as the landing in Porto were very scenic!

It was a very good flight. Indeed, there was turbulence during the landing in Porto. It was very cloudy as well.

well, in fact, both the on-board equipment and the service seem good to me for the type of aircraft and the short distance. I also looked for some examples of similar flights and the prices don't seem much higher than the same flights in low cost airlines.. I really need to try a flight with Swiss.

it's already true they usually clap their hands to mock the landing with Ryanair ... I thought it was a habit mainly made by us Italians instead I noticed that it is also done in other parts of the world haha ​​...

Swiss is part of the Lufthansa group and their prices are very much comparable to those of Lufthansa, Austrian, Brussels Airlines. Actually, Ryanair was much more expensive in this case.

Nice, how did you end up to fly to Porto from Zürich? I thought you were based in NL? You are confusing me 😂

At the time of booking, the direct flights to Porto were quite expensive. So I decided to fly with a stopover in Zurich.

19:45 Rectification: they are Portuguese handclaps. Swiss people usually don't clap for the baker when they buy some bread, nor for bus driver when they take public transport. So they don't clap for pilot when they take a plane. It's their job, it's condescending to clap for someone doing perfectly their job. Portuguese seems on the other hand less sure about their own pilots and national companies. 😂🤣

Actually they do clap but it depends on the flight. It’s more common in the French-part of Switzerland.

@@kayciwittl LOL C'est un peu n'importe quoi.🤣Je prends l'avion relativement souvent de ou vers Genève, et ça n'applaudit pas. Ni de et vers Bâle et ni de et vers Zurich.

@@nashtags Bah on a tout simplement eu des expériences différentes ahah. Je prends l’avion souvent et depuis les 3 aéroports aussi. Je peux dire que depuis Genève, ça arrive quelques fois (je dirais 1/3 des vols) et c’est souvent avec EasyJet. Pour preuve, il y eu des applaudissent dans les deux dernières vidéos que j’ai postées.

@@kayciwittl J'ai jamais entendu un seul applaudissement sur AirFrance ou Swiss. Nulle part. Que des touristes le fassent sur une low-cost parce qu'ils ont l'habitude de le faire chez eux (dernier vidéo à Split), ou des gens bourrés qui hurlent à tue-tête du départ à l'arrivée avec l'hôtesse qui après 5 minutes de départ leur demande de rester assis et une fois posés, leur demande de rester assis (NCE-GVA), faut aller chercher les applaudissements au niveau de l'éducation académique qui doit simplement manquer avec un QI d'huitre proche de la mort cérébrale. 🤣
