@FlyingGrimaud

Thanks for reaching out, my dad had this plane for about 17 years. As of two years ago he sold it to a new owner so I can't give you up to date costs with the current market. I do know that on average the annual was in the 2-3k range but the occasional 10k if things landed all at once. An overhaul is available because the engine is essentially just two Lycoming IO-360's bolted together.

@@RaceMentally I'd say just like anything, depends on your mission. Comanches are great airplanes that fly fast. cruise at 185kts burning 20 GPH but they also have their issues. Its a heavy and old airplane. They commonly have gear issues. My dad had a gear failure multiple times, luckily the backup release worked, but thats more money to fix it. His most expensive annual was 13k. This was about four years ago so with current prices, I assume that would be closer to 16k.

Derredmax Ha! Yes if you are with the flight instructor. That is my dad so it would be illegal for me to have flown his plane as the pic. I got my license a few months ago and was planning on posting a new video a few weeks ago but I ended up being out of town for the last month and a half.

Bill Rush Just saw your comment, I posted two more videos but this time of me flying a Cherokee. I will be recording more over Christmas break and try to prepare enough videos to have one a month over the next year.
