I suddenly have this crazy idea of a gyro seat on an airplane. The seat remains parallel to the earth surface throughout all maneuvers. It would be fuuny seeing everybody else pitch up and down and roll left to right while you remain upright alone throughout the flight 😂

@@CoIoneIPanic No, apparently none of you know how a plane is actually flown. A plane cannot fly this type of approach automatically. It has to be done manually. The captain has to be certified to land at this particular airport. It has no ILS. Autopilot can’t simply land on any runway, nor simply fly any approach. Approaches are flown to fixed points, using various types of vectors. This particular airport is VFR only, hand flown, and hand landed.

Nice landing. The approaches and landings at the former airports in Quito, Medellin, and Hong Kong were also incredible. For the last, many were long-haul flights, so 747s or Airbus equivalent, and my understanding was that pilots were specifically licensed for that airport. Not just any 747 pilot was allowed to land there. The final hard bank through the high rises, if you had a window seat you were looking right into people's living rooms. Amazing skill. The new HK airport is a casual landing.

WOW! Beautiful scenery low over the hillsides, and then that sharp turn just before the runway. Amazing!

Flying into Paro from Bangkok was the most fun I’ve ever had in a plane. Only the best pilots fly Druk.

I'm watching this video thinking "Click bait. This is nothing but a pretty view while landing." And then the computer calls "200" and I can't see the runway. So much respect to the pilot. Also, if I ever go to Paro, I'm driving.
