Morrocco is African brother, but the markets do feel just like Asia. In Europe we have lost market culture and it's a shame. You are right about how clean it is. I was lucky enough to visit Fez for a few days, and the shop keepers clean the streets in the market every single day. Every single person cleans the street outside his shop. On top of that the state has people hired to collect garbage regularly and empty public bins. If you ever go into the markets really early, you can see them cleaning. I was so impressed. Its so old and so well looked after, you can spend all day in the markets looking at art, foods, clothes, cultural stuff. The only place in Pakistan i noticed which was equally old and equally clean was Hunza city. I found public bins even in the mountain hikes. It was a pleasure to see. With both these places I noticed because they were so clean, people didn't make a mess either.
