That seller is high if he thinks he’s getting $60k for a salvage car with high mileage and all the lights and warnings in the dash. Just imagine what a full module scan will show is wrong. $40k would be the right number on the car to leave room for costly repairs and most likely lots of deferred maintenance and even then you might end up under water on it.

A Ferrari like that , costing $50k, could easily cost (EDIT: an additional) $75k to get right. A Ferrari is one of the cars that simply MUST have a full service history, completed properly. (You don't HAVE to have a main dealer service history, but at the very least a specialist service history)

It’s so easy to get hooked on bidding. I overpay on eBay quite often on luxury goods because I like to outbid people in the last 3 seconds. I could make a lot more flipping if I didn’t love the thrill of being the high bidder. I think that car as attractive as it is would be a mistake. Salvage titles turn people off, especially at high prices. It seems to me that it couldn’t pass smog in CA, so they registered it out of state. I’d pass!!

To be fair that’s a California T, the second generation of the car from 2015 to 17 or 18. It has a twin turbocharged V8 compared to the 08 to 14 first gen California normally aspirated. It will command a higher price than the first gen cars; better performance, more features, lower total production. $63 doesn’t sound too silly for what it is. Be terrified of the replacement cost of those carbon ceramic brakes though if they’re bad.
