An honorable mention goes to S19 Kenneth, who finished his first dish 20 minutes early (which received a 1), and got eliminated for improperly slicing cheese in the shrimp challenge and mistaking it for a potato. I wonder how he would've done in dinner service because that would've been hilarious to see.
@heymistercarter.2 жыл бұрын
JP on Season 13 also plated his signature dish early. But then he remade his dish and overcooked the protein on the second try. Who knows how that first one would’ve turned out had he stuck with that.
@quangminhtran29162 жыл бұрын
Kenneth would still be the first boot even if he stayed for the dinner service, after watching him cooking and his foods no one would expect him to stay for another week. I think Ramsay wanted to get rid of him before dinner service because he's seen enough and he didn't think Kenneth would survive the first elimination anyway so he eliminated him during the challenge. Elliot would've dodged the bullet if Kenneth stayed but those 2 are perhap the worst chefs in s19 so either of them would've been the first boot if not the other. Elliot stayed over Kenneth only because he did slightly better than Kenneth, plus he's young so Ramsay probably gave him another chance to prove himself (as Ramsay tends to prefer young talents to the older ones) but we all know how that turned out.

But who else? Well, the following chefs, who all had both a signature dish that wasn’t terrible and for some very good, and who I’d argue didn’t even have the worst first service: Carolann, Dominic, Wil, and Pat. *Maybe* Tiffany in S3, as she had a greater potential for drama with Julia, so GR would’ve kept her around for that, but that’s just a maybe.

Carolann and Dominic were decent but I doubt they would made it far had they survived their elimination. Carolann had zero experience in kitchen so even if she stayed she won't be last for longer than 5 weeks, same went to Dominic. It's still shock me that Pat was the first boot of s16, I wish he had a 2nd chance but I guess Matt was better TV than him so he got the first boot. Tiffany would've been great if she stayed, she and Julia would've made a very good "Jennifer vs Elyse" even before Jennifer and Elyse themselves appeared in s9, their rivalry was intense in the beginning but sadly didn't take off because she was the first boot.

I think “chefs” that are worst than Raj are: Matt (S4), Lacey (S5), Tom (S2), Kenneth (S19), JP (S13), and 8 “chefs” from the first season.
@quangminhtran29162 жыл бұрын
To be fair Raj did have a decent signature dish, despite it looked disastrous and went for a piss when Ramsay lifted his dish up. Even though he f***ed up the first 2 dinner services, he wasn't the worst of the night since someone was worse than him. It only when his 3rd dinner service that he completely broke down and made countless mistakes, it's interesting to note that the blue team won that dinner service despite Raj kept messing up during the night. If not for his terrible individual performances and Ramsay decided to keep him around for another week (mainly for the rating) he would've stayed longer. Those who said Raj was the worst probably didn't even watch Hell's Kitchen long enough or just binge watching random HK clips on youtube and assumed he's the worst while in the contrary, there're far worse chefs than Raj had appeared on the show.

My favorite being right after Matt's horrible signature dish he came up next, and he literally says in his confessional: "OH OH! It's my Dish!" It just cracks me up how he says it. Not to mention how during service he puts scallops on his hands and looks to the sides like that John Travolta Pulp Fiction meme. In a perfect world Jason should've been the first boot, but Dominic will always be a legend to me. He seems to be doing okay as a chef for a little league's team. He had a decent signature dish and seemed to just be a bit slow in the kitchen rather than terrible, he only left because he admitted his mistakes and probably because Seth had more TV potential. I genuinely feel a little bad for Sebastian, yeah he was annoying on the bus, but he even came down asking to continue cooking and had the balls to stand up to Ramsey asking for another chance mid-service. You don't normally get that kind of dedication and passion. "Name calling?" Just tell him not to do it, a one-and-done deal! The part that stings the most? Sebastian was a prophet, calling Zacky "Whacky" on night 1
@rayewaddell9668 Жыл бұрын
While yes he did have some balls but this is a competition to take serious. He barely showed any professionalism on the line. Not to mention he showed no discipline when he was kicked out the 1st time. Sebastian probably could’ve made it to another episode if only he didn’t make that “Zachy Wacky” statement or didn’t come back into the kitchen 3 times. Then again, as Ramsay said, it’s a kitchen, not a place for comedians. In the end, his elimination that night was pretty reasonable.
