what rob says about san francisco is correct. It used to be very bohemian, very alternative and truly welcoming/comfortable/creative. The last 15 years has gone from racially obsessed to marxist to a kind of authoritarian social climate in all aspects (work, school, community). Where if you dissent or offer anything other than the pro DNC/pro leftist viewpoint, you are outcasted/shamed/shunned.
@JS2000HS Жыл бұрын
The loser lefties wont like hearing that truth
@e.starling141 Жыл бұрын
It's a sad state. No more open mindedness or room for creativity. Only conformity and swift cancelation if you step out of line. The death of freedom and expression. imo. You know it'd bad when most mainstream comics have self censored and then go on to criticize and judge any comic that doesn't follow suit. I'm gonna call out someone like Sarah Silverman who only got her fame by being controversial and offensive, and then pulled up the ladder behind her when realizing it was better for her to fall in step. Fortunately there are young comics who don't censor themselves and do very well. (Just not in Hollywood.) They're actually willing to joke about the current climate and call out some of the insanity that everybody sees.
