Ever since Philippine Airlines was handled by Lucio Tan, it never went upward but rather on downward spiral, slowly degrading. The once mighty airlines carrying our flag with pride and honour, has changed into something so mediocre that it looks like a budget airlines.

However, despite of all that, I still loved flying with Philippine Airlines. There’s a spirit of being at home flying with carrier flag, and the pilots were really great. Taking off and landing with Philippine Airlines pilot is a breeze, you know you’re in good hands with them.

Yes please! We’ve seen how PAL improved all throughout the years and decades, remounting ceased routes and acquiring newer fleet with more modern cabins (remember when it almost became a budget airline?). Now, it is a 4-star airline and it really shows. PAL is our pride!

@@kimarnina PAL is not even owned by the Gov't. It is the only flag carrier airline I know that is not owned by the government. Also, PAL has the most outrageous attitude toward their passengers. Especially, handling after-flight issues. As a Filipino, it is heartbreaking. I hope the government starts seeing this, and do something about it! take back the ownership of PAL! and stop the oligarchy in the Philippines.

I raised seeing the airline above in our home (as the airport is nearby) and since then, I had always dreaming of one day I will be getting a chance to fly to one of its flights. So, dream fulfilled. We could tell the filing was coming on the flights we took feb and June as items were broken and needed repair (tv monitors, etc) but the workers were as good as ever working with what they had!! Thanks for hanging in there!

As an aspiring flight attendant, seeing these predicaments that the aviation industry is facing right now can be truly devastating, in fact many lost their jobs, most particularly the cabin crews and the commercial employees in-flight or on ground. But after seeing this video it made me realize that the airline industry is making every possible ways and stratagems to recover its losses from the pandemic, and it somewhat gave me a glimpse of hope and assurance to be more perseverant and determined to reach the horizons of my dreams, I salute all the people who are working in the airline industry; the pilots, cabin crews, and all the commercial employees, I pray for your continued support and guidance to overcome the challenges we are facing right now... From my personal experience, the flight attendants on Philippine Airlines are some of the nicest people in the business. Much more friendlier than when I got to the United States and got on a Delta Airlines flight, what a world of difference in kindness and professionalism. Hoping for PAL’s full recovery. Pero if and when things get better, hopefully, you can train some of your flight attendants to be warmer and more courteous. Flew with you guys several times over the past few years and compared to the cabin crew or JAL, Asiana, and Singapore Airlines, medyo suplada at suplado mga FA niyo. Overall, your product has improved immensely , pero nakakasira talaga ng experience yung ibang mga surly FAs niyo.
