I got this radio as a controller for playing Virtual RC. After 2 weeks of excessive use, the spring for the steering wheel broke. I fixed it by just bending up the end of the coil where the eye of the spring was, hence making a new eye and hooked it up again. This works so far until I'm delivered a replacement. The springs are much harder than on better TX but that hasn't bothered me much. The green LED is so bright that when it's blinking because the batteries are low, it's annoying. I put a strip a strip of electrical tape on the lid to shield it.

Think i’m going to order one today for an older Tamiya that’s been on the shelf for years.

Do you have any issue with range? My radio lost signal with 30 meters.

My steering doesn't work with this receiver/transmitter. I suppose I could have a bad servo. should a servo spin freely with my fingers? Mine is rather firm.

Redcat rebranded these and includes them with the landslide xte.. It has redcat all over it except on the battery housing cover there's a very small sticker with very small writing that says flysky gt2e. Great budget friendly tx/RX the setup, best of all when my gt3c comes next week I'll be able to use the "redcat" receiver with it as it is supported.

Good information to know. Is it okay if I pin this comment so other people can read it and know this information?

Derek Chavez , with everything turned off, put bind plug into channel 3, esc into channel 2, power up esc, there is a bind button on the transmitter, hold it down and keep it held down while you turn on the transmitter until it binds. When it does (which shouldn't take more than a few seconds) turn everything off, then back on. It should be bound now. If not something is wrong. Hope this helps

Channel 2 died on me. any suggestions ?
@JPsRCWorkshop6 жыл бұрын
I would contact flysky support. If they can't or won't help see if you can replace the potentiometer in the tx for throttle, assuming you have tested the motor and esc first to make sure that one of those isn't the problem.

@@JPsRCWorkshop you think it is the transmitter and Not the receiver ? everything was fine until mu ESC smoked / melted. i got a new ESC and now channel 2 is bad. that is why i think it is the receiver. the new ESC Motor and servos all is good. just not throttle channel. like the ESC frying somehow damaged channel 2 in the receiver is my thought.
@JPsRCWorkshop6 жыл бұрын
@@1peanut having the esc smoke could have taken the receiver out. I didn't know that you had had an esc go out, so the receiver is likely damaged.

@@JPsRCWorkshop i order 2 new Flysky receivers they are like $8 each. I will try to comeback with a update if it cured the problem or not. thank you for the videos.
