Very nice mod! I’m just getting started in the race category myself. Been droning for several years now, but we use the Mavic pro and Spark. Thanks for sharing. Take care. J.

Dont the normal aa batteries output some power anyway?
Do you have written instructions? I'd like to perform this mod but more specifics about the wiring would be nice because mistakes would suck
@highkkaido16036 жыл бұрын
Sorry I do not. If your are not confident in doing this mod from watching the video please do not attempt it. It's literally only 2 wires red and black.

Good afternoon. One question: What is the radio ranger? Thankful.
@highkkaido16037 жыл бұрын
Hi this is a battery mod not an antenna mod video so I have not tested range.
@georgedowning18036 жыл бұрын
Highkkaido FPV he has a point... if ur using a lower voltage than the 6v of a battrys, the output power will be reduced so will the range.

Nice mod ! I love it ! Best mod i seen for the Flysky ! Good idea to take a powerbank for Lipo battery with some extras functions ;-) Il someone find a suitable powerbank for this mod, please paste the link....thank you
@tripalong7 жыл бұрын
I'm currently doing this and my question is where are you getting the correct voltage to power the transmitter? That battery is just 3.7v is it not? Are you drawing the power for the trans off of one of the usb ports or did you just run the power directly from the battery and set the transmitter voltage on the transmitter itself to a lower max for the warnings? If that's the case then denying the controller the power it needs would also reduce its range I would think, right?
@highkkaido16037 жыл бұрын
It is being powered off the usb positive and negative which provides 5 volts.
@tripalong7 жыл бұрын
Yeah I thought that. The board I used didn't have an easy spot to solder to usb positve and neg and it ended up grounding out and frying a chip on the board. Ordering a new one and retrying. Thinking about maybe going 2s with a couple 18650's for 7.4v and then using a step down to 6v directly off the battery to power the radio and then another step down off the battery to the banks main board for its max voltage of 4v. I think that would work.

Hi, it looks great, do you have any link where I can buy this battery?
@highkkaido16037 жыл бұрын
I got this battery in Japan but any portable cell phone charger should work if it's flat enough.
@feldrik7 жыл бұрын
The charging port and the led strip is a plus on this one, I'll try to find a similar maybe with searching a slim power bank. Thank you very much for this nice video, very well explained ;-)
