Flysurfer Sonic 4 Testbericht - Erste Eindrücke vom SONIC4

Wir als Flysurfer Premium Partner hatten das Glück den neuen SONIC 4 schon einmal zu fliegen, hier seht ihr was dabei herausgekommen ist, erste Eindrücke vom Flysurfer SONIC 4.
Getestet haben wir ein 12QM SONIC4 bei 13-22knt am schönen Reschensee auf dem Twintip.

Thanks for sharing, looks super cool! Seems like it has better boost and hang time compared to sonic 3. How does the bar pressure compare to sonic 3?

It have more Lift than Sonic 3 for sure, hangtime maybe not more but to start in upper positon ;) Barpreasue feel real same there is no big differents. Keep in mind its also a different size nor we have 8/10/12 bevore 9/11/13. The New 4 10 can beat the lowend from teh sonic 3 11 and should have nearly the same highend than the sonic 3, not sure because i dont can test in realy strong wind. Just 12-19 knots on a gusty bavarianlake. Thats easy for the Kite an me. (205cm 120KG monofoil)

Hello! In your opinion, which kite of the same size has more power in low wind on twin tip, soul or sonic?

If you use it right the Sonic4 for sure, the Sonic 4 is very stable and easyer to use than Sonic 2/3 but if you drop it because of gusty wind etc the guy eith the dry soul2 in the sky will ride ;)

Servus Thorsten, es ist echt nur ein 10 Sonic 4 und es ist relativ wenig Wind. Die exakte stärke lässt sich leider nicht sagen da wir schlicht keine Windmesser dabei haben. Ist auch immer sehr subjektiv gerade am wenn so wenig Wasser im See ist wie aktuell. Da ist ander Sttaion gern mal 5 knoten mehr als am See. Zu dem Zeitpunkt des Videos war der See noch recht leer. Ich würde mal 12-18 knoten ansetzten. Ridergewicht 60 und 70 KG. Der Kite geht relativ frühlos, fühlt sich aber etwas anders an als der Vorgänger. Der minimal geringer "Grundzug" wird durch extrem gutes drehen erstezt. Gruss Mischa

Meinst du der 12er ist für einen 90kg Fahrer besser und drehfreudiger als der 12 Soul? (Vielleicht wie der 10ner Soul) 😊

@@torstensander1345 Hallo Trosten das ist immer etwas schwer so pauschal zu sagen aber das ist sicher der erste sonic der schlicht anders dreht als man es von seinem vorgängern kennt. Technsich drehen die Sonic4 anders also die soul. Als feedback aus unseren kunden hört man schon öfter der dreht besser bzw ich komm deutlich früher los kann besser abspringen das sind quasi alles indizien für ein "drehfreudigeres" verhalten.

How durable is flysurfer sonic and other flysurfer products like boards, bar and etc? I just want to ask this because I heard a lot of reviews that foil kites are less durable and also difficult to maintenance compared to inflatable kites. Is it correct? Thanks for your answer in advance 😊

The kite are very durable, in Best case you send it 1/year to us. Boards are like any other Sometime the bar loosing the crip but this easy to fix. Just Order it from ouer Shop, so you have the best Service.

If I remember right, one man sold his Soul 1, 15m and got Sonic 3, 13m. He said that with Sonic he has more power than with Soul 15. I was surprised to hear that. You said that Sonic 4, 10m beats Sonic 3, 11m in low end. Does it mean that Sonic 4, 12m will have more power than Soul 15m? I'm asking because I'm thinking about getting Sonic 4, 12m or Soul 15m to be able to get the most power possible to ride in low wind sessions on TT.

thats not a question with aclear anwser, it depens on many varainty, tt or foil, rider weight etc. a ligth rider with a adavcne technis on a foil wil in lower wind with the sonic4 12 that with a soul 1 15 an normal rider with 100KG Twintip not

@@Kitejunkiecom Ok. Let's say about me :) Im 69kg. I have 40x160 TT. And I have some technic that helps me to get going with Soul 2 10m in 6-8 knots on that TT. Would i be able to win a low wind competition (4-5knt) with the Sonic 4, 12m or better for me to use new model of Soul 15m?

@@aleshaborisovich 4-5 knot on a TT are not able on any kite but if you whant the lowens possible lowned for you weigth take a 15 or 18 SOnic 4, hre you git the best Power/QM an a much better lowend than on the soul 10. Dont know how much knt it wil bee less then on the Soul 10. best regrads mischa

@@Kitejunkiecom Thanks. Yes, with 15 or 18 Sonic I'll get the best low end energy 😉 But I have to choose only between these 2 kites: Sonic 4, 12m and new Soul 15m. No other option for me is available.
