when I was younger I used to watch you in most of the contests that you were in and you quickly became my favorite snowboarder. Every time I went to board I brought a little Hexbug that I couldn't board without cause I'm superstitious like that and I named him after you. So in my head, I had Torstein in my pocket with me. This shit was goddamn DOPE! The footage, the riders, the story, the music... It all came together perfectly. Inspiring stuff really. You can just feel the passion that went into this project. Find your passion and go all in people. This video series is a testament that doing so can turn into something amazing. I've always been drawn to it, but only started snowboarding at age 29. The first time I went, it was just for a week. It was enough to light the spark though, which has now lead to the pursuit of a new life. The second year, I went for 3 weeks. The third year I managed to total 6 weeks. The fourth year I truly went all in and moved to Austria for the winter season. Now starting the fifth year, I have once again moved to Austria for the winter. Who knows, maybe next year I'll move here full time... And although I had to leave some things behind, it's been more than worth it. There are many distractions in life and it's easy to get stuck because things are comfortable. I'm happy I got unstuck. The relentless pursuit of something that brings you joy is not always the easiest, but it's really fucking rewarding!

This who spin and story line is fresh. I like how Torstein is bringing life perspectives into things. BC following your passion and especially snowboarding is hard as fuck and for years video parts make it seem like everyone is indiestructable with unlimited money and fame. When in reality it was harder. I think its a welcome perscpective into the mountain sports world. Everyone just loves what they do but they dont talk about how hard it is to keep doing it. Very cool very cool..HUMILITY very nice.
