My dad checked out in the T-6G back in ‘54 before the T-34A came along.. at the time he was thinking ‘look at me, flying a square-winged radial just like the Hellcat aces of 1944’! 😉🫶🏻

Hello Scott from Sydney Australia. I'm happy "flywire is back" Did you work on the DC3 engines? I'm still thinking about Dan Griders introduction to that tree on the side of the RWY? I miss the pronunciation of your new yellow plane. It looks like a Canadian RAF trainer. 🌏🇦🇺

Scott: Congrats on the recent Harvard aquisition. Let's see i am sure you still have the Steerman cause that was in your family a long time, then there is the Baron.....glad you built that hanger big. BTW, my uncle was a Navy ferry pilot during WWII, and know flew Wildcats from the Grummam plant in PA to points beyond. I wish i had asked him more, but will talk with my first cousin. I vote for your aviation intro! Safe Flying!

Well that was just beautiful. So we need you around to teach and entertain us for years to come. Three years ago I was built just like you, getting fat, big arms and legs. BP going up, A1-C going up. I changed my diet. No beer, alcohol, no sugar or carbs. It’s hard but try it for 90 days . You have nothing to loose. Beef, butter, bacon and eggs! I’m sorry I’ll shut up now.

You sucked up a lot of runway in that Harvard on take off haywire, tire pressure? 😮 Hope you get that sorted out, thanks for the update. 👍 😊
@bend14833 ай бұрын
I don’t see what you’re seeing. The camera person for the takeoff section of the video was standing at the centre taxi way and Scott got airborne just afterwards. Hey used maybe 60% of Tailwinds 2600ft runway. You may be confused because the runway goes over a crest out of view of the camera man, but there almost half of it left!
@nightcrawleroriginal3 ай бұрын
@bend1483 Could very well be the camera📷 angle but the tires do "appear" to be on the low side at (05:25). I haven't been on tires for years, I transitioned from float planes to helicopters Years ago. Take Care.😊
